This is the kit we never knew we all needed for our German armies. I have got a _ton_ of Grenadiers (two platoon boxes and I just ordered the Grenadiers starter army), but these guys are going to be used for my Engineer platoon and some more special weapon teams. I'm super jealous that you got your hands on them early. 😎 Thanks for the video!
I might not even build most of the models in my Pioniere box, now. There are a couple of options in there that didn't make it to this sprue, but these guys will fit in better with my Late War Grenadiers than those old Blitzkrieg engineers.
For the German bread bag and MP40 pouches, Pallid Bone speed paint is nearly perfect, as is the Camo Green. I'm doing my British now with speed paints and it's just so easy.
@@HO-bndk you’ve seen the movie predator 🤣 All seriousness he’s going on a larger base with bricks building up to the MG stand. So he’ll be firing behind a wall with the MG propped up
One trick I like to use, you can actually just mix the vallejo paint with the grey speedpaint and a few drops of speedpaint medium to turn the vallejo color basically into a speedpaint.
Would love to know how this turns out and also the ratio you use and what effect it has. I also was wondering how this method would work over Grey Seer primer rather than white!
Great video, Miniature Game Montage. Looking forward to your next upload! I smashed that thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the awesome work! Your comparison of speed paint versus traditional methods is so enlightening. Have you considered exploring how different environments or terrains might influence your painting techniques for miniatures?
@@Steve_Lorimer the one pose I showed was really prone to them. I really wish they could get them off helmets but I see that across manufacturers/games

This is such a good kit. Going to be the backbone of every bolt action german army.

@@turtlecheese8 I’ll definitely make some with that. Thanks for the tip! 👍

They both turned out well. If you are saving a bunch of time and it still looks almost as good then the speed paint method is a winner. Great video.
Thanks!

Thanks! Honestly haven't considered it. I don't consider myself an expert or anything like that. Just an average joe painter sharing what I love. 🙂
Love the sculpts and all the weapon options, but for a new kit there are some shocking mould lines on quite a lot of the parts
