@@MiniatureGameMontagethe one thing I will do different (besides apply the paint totally unevenly, bleed over lines, and generally suck compared to you) is use a dark grey on metal parts. Metal was oxidized or parkerized to prevent it from being shiny and drawing attention on the battlefield. Even knife and bayonet blades were darkened except for the cutting surface.

Yep! I did the rest of the squad with Hardened Leather. The Ruddy Fur was just too light imo.
