Makes me want to go to Japan. Looks really peaceful there. Great video, more stuff like this
You should, the yen is very low right now!

Love the how it's made info and travel footy.
Thanks for vlogging what you did. It was really fun to watch. The rolleiflex pics were gorgeous!
Garrett not only did a great job with the vlog, but also a great photo professor!
This was really good and made me feel like I was vicariously traveling! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love the long format!
This is great

More adventure videos please!
thank you for the long video
My pleasure!

Thanks for the long form video! Planning a trip to Japan for August summer so the ice cream recommendation is useful!😂
There is a lot of great ice cream to enjoy here, especially in August when it's super hot here.
That was good, nice to see how denim is made, and sweet cigarettes! As we called them in England years ago, banned over here now!
In Japan they have a soda for kids that's basically marketed as kids beer. It's just soda, but it foams up so the kids can drink just like the adults :P
awesome, dude. Was waiting for this travelog!
Awesome vid
man i would really much love to do collage in the factory
This was awesome.. more like this please :-)
You bet! More to come!
Her Jacket at 25:45 looks amazing!
I feel like Garrett has eaten more on this trip thani i gave in the last month. Gotta feed those muscles
I enjoyed every sec of this video. Great stuff
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really great long format!!
Gigachad move drinking a brewski at 7am! Awesome video though, hope I can visit Japan one day
You should! Especially now with the weak Yen, it's the perfect time to visit. It's like the whole country is on sale.
Good stuff. 👍
This was rad. Nice choice on using the wide angle lens too! 👏
Glad you liked it!
Amazing travel video!
This was so damn good
Very Nice!
This footage feels like we are right there with you. My pockets are full on account of no garbage cans (courtesy of Aum Shinrikyo).
Uni and turbo sazae - shumi ga ii, ne!
That uni might have been harvested from coastal Maine - not far from Montreal, heh :-)
Another weird habit you pick up because of the lack of garbage cans is deciding if you want a take out drink from a cafe, or a bottled drink from a convenience store. Getting rid of a bottle is super easy, usually there will be a slot for the empties next to a vending machine. Plastic cups though.. You'll get suck with those for a while. Always carry a little tote bag around for your garbage.
@@NakedandFamousDenimMy wife was running late for work the day of the sarin attack, otherwise she would have been in the thick of it. That is how I learned the origin story of the unicorn-like nature of garbage cans in Tokyo.
I'm sorry I have to be the one who informs you, but you can TOTALLY get Reese's Pieces Mini cereal in Canada. Well...at least in Vancouver!
The regular size ones yes.. Minis, I've yet to see in Canada. I could be wrong though..
@@NakedandFamousDenimThem’s be fighten’ words! You want receipts?! I’ll give you receipts! I’ve got photographic EVIDENCE from No Frills!
8:25 Japan has a very clean environment because it has such a homogenous society that is raised with morals and respect. I love Japan and hope to be able to go one day. Garrett is living the dream here.
It's true, a lot of the "rules" are just ingrained into people. It's not perfect here, but I think it's a pretty nice place to live, and of course for everybody to visit!
Re the can, id stamp it flat. Then stick it in my back pocket, till i could bin it.
Cans and bottles are actually easily disposable, Garrett may have missed the memo. But there are recycling bins for these all around.
What is the id on those black sashiko looking converse shoes worn by some of the models in yalls ig posts???
Old naked & famous denim shoe
That's right, some N&F Made in Japan sneakers from around 10 years ago.
@4:58, ahhh. I had noticed you like to show tufts in the selvedge of various denims. Those tufts are where the weft shuttle changed?
Bingo! Those little strands on the selvedge ID are where the shuttle changes, usually it's even 30cm or so.
One more detail for denim nerds. When you know, you know! 😻
Amazing that there aren't many garbage cans, yet its very clean... hmm almost like they care.
It's reverse culture shock when I go back home to the west, you start to see all the garbage and graffiti everywhere..
@NakedandFamousDenim I mean Japan is like 98% Japanese. It's easy to control the way things are, when yr culture is all about honor and honesty.
What is that cross body that Brandon is wearing at the beginning of the video?
It's a bag made out of the 32oz denim.
the only terrible and awful thing about this video is that it ends
We had a great time hanging out with Garrett too, we hope he comes back and visits again real soon.
Garret has a great filming style, he should make more videos like this.
Thank you!
