    If you try for one week to live according to how Jesus says. Particularly by paying attention to your thoughts. You realise how broken and imperfect you are....and when you humbly realise this,and ask God for forgiveness and accept yourself. You realise that everyone else is also broken,and so how can we possibly judge? No,we must love forgive,and be compassionate to each other as God intended. If we all did that,it would indeed '..be on Earth,as it is in Heaven.

    • @benjaminhoffman3848
      @benjaminhoffman3848 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The issue comes when people seek to justify sinful lifestyles by saying that Christians shouldn't judge. Examples include pre-marital sex, homosexual sex, focusing on accumulating money instead of serving God. These are things God already condemned so it is not Christians judging them, but God. They should be repented of, not allowed into the Church to avoid judging people.

    • @marsulgumapu2010

      I’m not broken and imperfect because I can’t do what Jesus said in the sermon on the mount. I may not be blessed, I may not see god, but I’m whole and I’m perfect in the cosmic sense. I don’t need forgiveness for failing to love my enemies. Im just a human.

    Everything Jesus says in the Sermon on the Mount is found in various places in the Torah.
    He's not contradicting the Torah (written), he's arguing against the oral traditions of the pharisees ("you have heard")

    • @demetriusmiddleton1246
      @demetriusmiddleton1246 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Not trying to argue, but what exactly is your point? Who said he was contradicting anything? Are you adding to or just restating what was said in the video?
      I think your last sentence is missing some nuance too. It doesn't seem that he's arguing AGAINST the oral traditions - but CLARIFYING those oral sayings (oral sayings that, as you've reiterated, are also stated in the Torah).

    • @DaveGme
      @DaveGme 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The fact that it’s missing nuance should prod the people who don’t know to research it. If they aren’t going to do it, then nuance instead of a full explanation wouldn’t do much good. And if they do, then they’ll realize the oral traditions are shot down by Jesus throughout His ministry.

    • @demetriusmiddleton1246
      @demetriusmiddleton1246 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Sunny Dayz you didn't clarify anything - you merely stated that you disagree. Again, It doesn't seem that he's arguing AGAINST the oral traditions - but CLARIFYING those oral sayings.

      @Sunny Dayz That's more like what i said - he clarified the intent of the laws. He also specifically said he didn't come to abolish the laws - which seems to mean he came to fulfill and add clarity to them. I wouldn't saythat's "shot down"

    The way to be able to do what Jesus wants us to do is by means of the Holy Spirit giving to those who repent and turn from evil. Jesus’s standards are impossible without being born again and having grown in love by the Holy Spirit. That is why we need a righteousness surpassing the righteousness of the Pharisees and this only comes by the Spirit of God producing Love in us. Read the Fruit of The Spirit in Galatians 5:18-23. This LOVE comes only from God, no where else.

    Spirit of the law vs the letter. If you have the spirit you will not break the law.

    • @trilltez
      @trilltez 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      And in order to receive the Spirit, we have to seek Him and serve Him daily, weekly, yearly, until we die. That is what it means to fulfill the law, by bearing the fruits of the spirit through our daily submission to the reign and power of Jesus Christ. The word of God is enough for us and His grace is enough for us, “For when I am weak, then I am strong.” Receiving the spirit isn’t based on our works, but rather the grace of God. For in order to be given the spirit and it’s fruits, again, we ought to be actively seeking Him and serving.

    you speak about murder here.
    Is there any guideline of how to treat murderers right?
    Am I allowed to speak negatively about murderers?
    Am I allowed to destroy the chainsaw with which a murderer is about to cut someone else in two pieces?
    What am I allowed to do in order to prevent violence practiced by evil others?

    I came to the conclusion 20 years ago that the church teaches Christian theology but does not teach scriptural truth. I've heard it said, "the Law/Torah has been done away with, nailed to a cross, no longer relevant today". As we just heard in this video the Torah is well alive for that is the Word made flesh. That is the Covenant, that we would keep his laws. These are the marriage vows of a righteous bride.

    The gospel of the kingdom metaphorically requires that we recognize the rightful owner of the house we live in and to exit the house and hand its keys to its legal owner. The teachers of Roman Churchianity like this dude presents a gospel with no requirements and strives to gently encourage its hearer to let the legal owner sleep in one of the bedrooms one night a month. This is why Islam is exploding because people want something real enough that requires a true cost. Salvation cannot be earned but it requires repentance which is an act of faith that results in a heart that loves and obeys like Yeshua himself. Yah's instructions are not suggestions. They are highway signs that warn that a 35 mph curve is ahead. If you ignore the sign and hit the curve doing 70mph, you are going to crash and maybe die.

    I think you may be missing the point of how cleansing takes place, and how our hearts are changed. We conform to God's way, His will, through the washing of the water of the word, by our husband Jesus (Ephesians 5:25-27). We are being tested, as it says Deuteronomy 13. There are many parables about this, like the one about the tares and the wheat, or the sheep and the goats. The wheat is The Good Seed, the word of God planted in the hearts of men, but tares are bad seeds planted by the enemy and they are twisted words. These seeds yield fruit, one yields fruit of obedience; and one yields fruit of rebellion and the lawlessness.The flesh CANNOT SUBMIT to God's laws, it is not even able to do so. My sheep HEAR MY VOICE (the voice of God), only a thief enters the wrong WAY, through another DOOR, a DOOR without the LAWS and the blood written on them. But SHEEP KNOW HIS VOICE and FOLLOW and ABIDE. Standing on the Foundation, CORNERSTONE. JESUS IS TORAH the Word made flesh.... and the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went out to pursue those who OBEY the LAWS of God AND hold to the testimony of Jesus. The Prodigal Son went back to the father's house to Feast with HIM.... when they say Lord Lord didn't we heal in your name, didn't we prophesy in your name.... He says depart from me I never KNEW you, you who PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS. They are without the Torah..

    Y’all follow at least 18 Torah commandments so how many you gotta be following that he fulfilled all of before you see that it’s the torah you aren’t following you are repenting from???...
    Sin is transgression of the law in 1 John 3:4... transgression is not following or rebelling!!!...
    Yea y’all need to look at it a little deeper!!!...
    He gives you the set apart spirit for you fail alone!!!...so When you love the world (pagan holidays not his feasts) then you have forsaken the law that has not passed!!!

And MANY such things you do.... Acts 7:53- you who received THE LAW as ordained by angels, and yet DID NOT KEEP IT... Matthew 23:1-3 Then Jesus spoke to the crowds and his disciples saying, "The scribes and the Pharisees have seated themselves in the chair of Moses (where they read the LAW of God); therefore ALL THAT THEY TELL YOU, DO AND OBSERVE, but do not do according to THEIR deeds for they SAY things and do NOT do them... The followers of Christ all called him Rabbi, Jesus (Yeshua) observed Hannukka and all other Jewish Holidays including Passover which was the scene for the Last Supper. Jesus died on the Cross for our Sins as a Jew and was never a Christian. Amen
