this is the updated tutorial on how to use the playcover to play genshin impact on your macbook m1/m2, leave some comments below and i will try to answer them :))
for any aim issue:
Bruh Moment: (from playcover)
- set mouse sensitivity to max on macOs settings
- set sensitivity to max on my mouse ( the DPI button )
- set genshin in-game sensitivity to minimum
- set genshin in-game sensitivity (aim mode) to 2
- set Acceleration mode: acceleration bar.

omg it works!! I tried doing it without removing the SIP because ion want no viruses, and it still works!!

When i opened the playcover app it didnt show me the thing where i need to install xcode command line tools how does it pop up for u but not me?
Hii for some reason when i tried downloading the playcover and transferring it to the applications, it said that the application could not be opened because it is not supported on the mac, If anyone knows how to fix this, please help!

@@dwollsize sorry but I don't know, i have the latest m2 mac15 and I just installed playcover 3.0 and started using nothing was asked
@@dwollsize don't know if you need this info anymore but "ipa" is the file type of your downloaded game (example: genshininmpact .ipa) once you download the game you drag it in to playcover and then you'll be able to play

Got it working on my Mac. I saw some ppl saying you didn't have to do the SIP thing at all and they were right... I think you only have to do that for older versions of PlayCover

@riddhimap had this same issue. I did make sure I did the terminal step. Then put the code of line in from that trouble shooting website and copied and pasted it. Then typed in my Mac password and then it popped up another line of words...so nothing happened really. Then restarded the Mac Then went back into the app and It finally let me log in

Gonna try this right now and see how it goes! My phone ran out of storage and the windows laptop I used is so bad that when I go underwater in genshin, it crashes loool.
Saw a lot of comments saying that sip is not required so I’ll try without that first. If it doesn’t work then I will do it.

Are you on Sonoma? I am actually unable to play any games with sonoma, none are working. Even after turning SIP off.
@@zainulnazir I’m just using a MacBook Air and following all the steps without the sip have worked for me. Everything runs pretty smoothly and only issue is that I have to manually click on some stuff because the key mapping can’t cover every single button.

@@Bellaaaaaa-ze8wp I did all the steps in the video up to the point where she says to first open genshin. After that just sign into your account and click on the door to start to play. It’ll say that you finished the demo version and need to download the full version. Just click on download and it will start.

heyy, your tutorial was very useful. I installed genshin, but I can't move the cursor as soon as I open the app, neither with the touchpad nor with the mouse, and I can't even log in for this reason. what can I do to fix this?
Press 'option' and it should fix it, you might have missed the quick notification when you enter the game from the keymap, it's so you can switch between using the cursor to control the game or having it automatically change the camera angle like that. :)

I successfully login right after downloading and importing genshin.
with the new 3.0 beta for playcover, you don't need to disable/enable your sip anymore and just simply download and login
i am not quite sure on that, because i still use this method for 3.0 :))

Hello, when I download playcover it shows the icon with a cross over it. It says "You can’t open the application “PlayCover” because this application is not supported on this Mac." Does this only work for certain macs?? I have a macbook pro

hi sophia, I did everything as you said a year ago from one of your other videos, it worked fine till genshin version 4.0, but now after 4.1 I am having problem with keymapping , it doesn't work at all if I press command + k it shows the keymapping menu but it never goes and entire mouse and keyboard becomes responsive. I tried uninstalling keymapping and installing it again it didn't worked either. I need your help. waiting for your response
I was having the same problem as you until deleted Playcover 2.0.5 and downloaded play cover 3.0.0 but when you do that the app tells you to update it 2.0.5 because 3.0.0 is a beta.

you gotta go to step one again (restart ur mac and disabling ur SIP) make sure to enable it ONCE u have logged in ur genshin acc

mouse and keyboard cant work at the same time so make sure the mouse is off and key mapping is on, hope it helps thanks
