I can only think the Spiked Ant level might have been interesting if you had to pick a random power up from a roulette or if you got the POW Hat at the start & had to navigate a legitimate level only using the hat to kill 3 ants while avoiding wasting it on other obstacles & enemies, but instead it had to be lazy hidden block nonsense. Honestly even as a display of how durable the Spiked Ant is, the level could have just had a “True Answer” door next to the other power ups with a POW Hat through it making it easily skippable for those uninterested/aware & a cute exhibition for those who wanted to give it a shot.
Best way would be to have all the power ups not in a block, just out in the open, and then have a not very hidden hidden block leading to the POW hat

Honestly that was a pretty funny troll, making you spend like 5 minutes fighting a ton of bosses just to send you back to the beginning

I'm guessing the reason that snowballs break when you enter a pipe is because they didn't want you bringing them outside of the snow theme. Normally they would be spike balls, so maybe there's some weirdness where the game would try and turn them into spike balls if you took them into a non-snow sub level.
Maybe, but you can bring a poison mushroom from a night ground theme to a normal theme via yoshi
That dark underwater level had potential to be unironically good; a pity that the creator ruined it by adding two "pick-a-path"s.
Yeah the random hidden blocks bouncing you back down towards the rising lava is pretty hilarious tbh, feels like that idea would make a great vs lvl

For those that are curious about the double shell jump, it took me 12 hours to learn how to do it in smw and he just does it like its nothing. Casual king.
It could have taken him more than 12 hours to learn double shell jumps, he can do them like its nothing now because he's not in learning phase. Long story short, if Ponga is the casual king, so are you :)

Another way I think you couldve killed the spiked ant was by guiding it with crates with the toxic (builder suit) to the question mark blocks and then hit them while it’s on one of them.
