Now! How much fun can we have here in Hawaii combining this stew with your Artisan Bread recipe--maybe even a piece of your Tartien Bakery Shortbread with coffee for dessert! I know this is going to be a favorite change of pace from our normal Island food. I am a fanatic for an authentic Julia Child Boeuf Bourguignon and from experience with that I can almost smell and taste this marvelous looking beef dish--oh Santorini where are you when I need you?!
Will definitely try it. In Latin America where I am, there is a dish called estofado, usually is chicken stew but can be beef too. I think the words are from same source.
@@pamelasfavoriterecipes7998 The estofado has more vegetables, with some potato and carrot etc, usually tomato-based. I think this Latin American dish got that from Spain.
Awesome.
Looks good, will have to try this!
How delicious! I’ll have to make this!
This looks so interesting, I just have to make it. Thanks for sharing!
I hope you do try it! You will not believe the aroma coming from your kitchen as it’s slow cooking in your oven!

Yes, it does sound very much like Stifatho. Do you know if ingredients are similar?
