Ketu the south node of the moon is about isolation, spirituality, letting go of things, separation from material world, while the 4th house in astrology shows mother's nourishment, childhood home, home itself, and homeland. When Ketu comes here it makes a person get less nourishment and love from mother, mother's affection would be lacking and the native would be separated from the mother at an early age, either due to travel or early expiration of mother. Ketu in the 4th house makes a person move to foreign lands and live outside of home be cause since 4th house represents mother land or home land, Ketu's nature separates the native from that land, and since Rahu is in the 10th house, these people are out in the world trying to gain authority.
From the 4th house, ketu aspects the 8th house, 10th house and 12th house. Ketu's asepct on the 8th house brings about interest of occult because ketu wants to know the truth and due to the 8th house aspect it searches for truth with things hidden underground, things that are hidden from society, but with that interest also comes sudden events like car accidents or accidents of any kind including surgery. The spouse assets may not be conceived due to ketu's nature to isolate itself. Yes..it can express in different ways.(I have Ketu in 4th). Up to when I was 9 my mother gave lots of love and nourishment...all that I needed, until she left at 9 (physical distance). I didn't miss her nor feel a lack. I got what I needed then she disappeared. Although I didn't miss her it did trigger a searching in me spiritually for answers - as I was puzzled why a mother would leave the family and it did trigger the same theme from my previous past lives.

She has horrible trust issues, and always seems to treat me like I'm up to no good because she can't manipulate me as easily as she does others. With other people however, I'm well liked...but people always seem to think I'm "wild" or unpredictable. Maybe its because of the enlightenment factor within my chart. It's almost comical listening to this! And such a different interpretation from western astrology. First of all my mother was abusive and I ran away as a teen- never went back. She had moved my sis and I around a ton, so I do live far away from my homeland. And my main focus in life is that- moksha. I have traveled to India and stayed in an ashram for a meditation retreat. I have worked in a jail and currently work in a psychiatric hospital, lol!
