Escaping Daily Life in Sydney | Orange Farm VLOG

I hope you enjoyed our farm vlog from our weekend getaway in Sydney. 🎉
✨ First of all everyone, there are many different activity areas like this in Sydney. To find them, you can search in Google using terms like "Sydney Weekend Events," "Sydney Farm Events," "Sydney Farm," or "Sydney Fruit Picking." You can also change these search terms by adding the name of your city. If the event provider doesn't have a website, make sure to check the explanation or hours in their Google business profile, as many operate on a booking system.
✨ The place we went to is called Fords Farm, which is about 1 hour by car from Sydney and approximately 50 kilometers away. I’m sharing the address below:
📍1275 Singleton Rd, Laughtondale NSW 2775
At this farm, you need to book a booking in advance by paying a $15 fee. The system shows you a 1-hour slot, but this is just to control vehicle traffic; there is no time limit once you arrive. After booking online, you will receive a QR code, which you should save as the staff at the entrance will want to see it.
✨ The journey is generally very enjoyable and smooth. You can see many different farms along the way; if you have time, you can stop by and take a look. And of course, don't forget to enjoy the scenery ☀️
✨ As I mentioned in the video, all fruits are $4 per kilogram, but the small fruit is $10 per kilogram, and I think it will be your favorite 🤩. I want to note that these were the prices this year; I don't know what it will be next year or in the upcoming seasons. There might not be significant changes, but still, check beforehand.
✨ They will ask for a $5 deposit per pair of scissors at the entrance. If you don't need scissors, you can skip this, but make sure to have cash with you just in case.
✨ There are many places to have breakfast along the way, so don't forget to try a different place!
✨ You won't have internet on the way back. If you're heading back to Sydney or traveling within Sydney, after leaving the farm, go straight for half an hour until the road ends. When you see the signs for the city, turn left and continue. There might be road changes or constructions, so ask the staff for advice before leaving.
