What a nice flipping box! That Bowmasters does some major work with hitting value. I was surprised when it and The One Ring avoided the ban. However, when you think about it, losing the value of those two cards would hurt this set, and WotC doesn't want that with an 'Evergreen' set that has more to come this Christmas. I also continue to be surprised by the Nazgul. I was *totally* wrong on that. Sure, they have come down, but I really thought they would end up in the $2-$3 range being Uncommon. Can you imagine if they were rare? (although tin-foil hat me still thinks they kinda are. 😏) Funny to think LotR was just absolute fire not that long ago and all the talk, yet it's already kinda been forgotten. Modern Magic is a hell of a thing.
The banned list update is why I waited. Banning one or both of those cards would have destroyed the EV. Though I figured it was a pretty slim chance of that actually happening it was still safer to wait. Box turned out to be great!
It’s a sneaky good equipment piece. EQ is tough because only the elite will make it into a constructed deck. But I’d throw it in a commander deck for sure.

I’ve been super fortunate on bowmasters. I’m glad I was patient enough to hold on to the ones I pulled so I now I have a full playset.
Why does Barrow Blade not get any love? The card is pretty decent.
