@@CTROCKNo feeling and soul there, he's just repeating the very same solo on every song, with very little variations. Sounds like a kid showing of his exercices.
This must be one of my favorite videos on youtube. no matter how fast he goes there's still a ton of feeling in every single note. i just wish i could play like this
Technique and taste 👌 Just discovered this guy and I'm an instant fan! Such fantastic control over his techniques, and a wonderful soul throughout it all. He is like a purer Malmsteen.
Bellas is a GOD. His guitar playing is unmatched, and this is by far one of the top displays of lead guitar playing I've ever seen. He makes me want to give up playing myself. His tone, his feeling, his note selections and phrasing, his pure emotion pierce the soul and leave me wanting to watch this over and over again. Everything he does is pure magic. May I add his vibrato is just perfect. Check the note at 1:07, mindblowing, incredible.
people, the dude is soo badass he just created a new genre, shred blues, really well done and definitely has a bluesy feel to, i feel blue when i watch this, makes me wanna throw my guitar out...jus sayin
I agree with you, blues is what you make of it. You don't need to only use 1 box with 5 notes to make it strictly Blues. It's all about the emotion and expression, which George oozes it.
Ok!Bellas is an amazing shredder!and I think that what is worth to be mentioned about him is that he alt.picks and sweeps so smoothly and so cleanly(even though he picks every note, his notes flow and sound connected[legato type of thing])!and his tone is amazing too!I ain't a shredder myself but I appreciate the talent and the effort of these players.
I am yet young and I have 16 years. I listen hip - hopu. Only O. S. T. R. and different. But gram 7 years on guitar. And this which does George it is amazing. My second love, beautifully acted. This guitar cryings. This is championship. :Am D from Polish and my English it is weak. Bravos for this Lord. :D:D
Parabens ..... I see your video every day ... one of the best in the yotube ..... I am trying to learn to play the 1 year and hopefully playing guitar one day look to you. Video 1.000 my contry is - Brazil excuse my English - use the translator google
Man, this guy is a mix of Malmsteen with Holdsworth. but with awesome feeling, that makes him a spice and smooth guitarrist at the same time. One day I´ll get there
Amazing guitarist. Sounds like he went to the Yngvie school of Guitar. 1,000 notes per second. =) Good stuff tho'. I'd give my left ball to play HALF that well.
Bellas is not a copy of anything people..... stop saying that for crying out loud!! Just stop it. YJM has influenced a hundred thousand musicians including GB but come on, this guy is one of a kind, singular, remarkable. Just take a look to his solo work, listen to songs like Encoded In Light, One Last Wish for instance or this blues solo even. Try to actually comprehend the degree of uniqueness he possesses... don't try, do it. Haven't heard of Palace Terrace? Well... I rest Bellas' case.
Well, it's closer to Fusion than actual Blues, but I see what you mean... And his improvisation skills are great! I don't understand why you said it was terrible.
I agree, he's repeating the same scale patterns over and over. I prefer the jazz blues. He does have a good feel and tons of chops tho. Rather hear Jeff Beck
His distortion is not high. I know for a fact that George sets his gain at 4. Just e-mail him and he'll reply. I've got to know George a bit through e-mail. Super nice guy and always takes time to reply to fans. I asked him what settings he uses and his reply said 4 for gain. It's definitely a lot cleaner than all other shredders. Anyway, he's definitely a great player and a great guy.
Fair enough if it's not you're type of Blues, but it is still a form of Blues. Is your definition of Blues strictly Crossroads style or BB King? What about Gary Moore, he Still had the Blues and that is a similar backing to what George has here, yet that song Gary uses strictly Aeolian and harmonic minor, yet it's still a blues song. Blues can come in many different forms, and here George is definitely playing the blues. I'm not having a go at you either, just expressing my opinion.
this is great but keep in mind: speed doesnt mean talent, and speed doesnt mean music. when i hear a solo that has not even 50 notes, but its played with feeling and heart, it moves me more than these 4000000000000 notes. still a great vid
@Shewolfen It's a I IV V progression. That is a blues progression. You seem to be under the delusion that blues must replicate something that has already been done.
Let me see if I understood...hum... into the tonal system, we have the diatonic scales (major-minor) and the chromatic scale, so what are you talkimg about?? Atonal music? ??????????????????????????
a blues is not necessary just some king song it's 12 bar or more series which follows a certain chord structure, and is often played by jazz greats, Ie miles pass coltrane
very fluenty solo!!! i really enjoy listen to this clean sound... i just dont like the cliches licks... always finishing in key =/ i can guess what he s going to do.
I feel sad for people who can't hear the beauty of this. It caught me from the very first frase and didn't let go 'till the end.
Those people are stupid! man this is a killer kick ass guitasr solo! so much feeling and soul!
*phrase
So many illiterate people circling the TH-cam sewer.
Exactly! The song is one solo from end to finish! Like every one of is song!

14 years later I still love this.
Me too🎸🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
Jesus, I've seen this video some years ago the first time, it still makes me breath harder...
This guy is not just a shredder, this guy is a true virtuoso musician.
Technique and taste 👌 Just discovered this guy and I'm an instant fan! Such fantastic control over his techniques, and a wonderful soul throughout it all. He is like a purer Malmsteen.
Wow, such a master!
All these years later and this is STILL the most amazing video on youtube. I don’t think Bellas even has it on his own channel....KrAzY
I did ask George to use it. He has his own thing going, doesn't require TH-cam.
Just wow! Thank you Laurie for sharing this!

You need your hearing checking
George is definitely among the best guitarists youtube has to offer!
That's anything but "slow" blues. Great spiking and sweeping. Dem long digits definitely help to pull off those licks. Thanks, Showtime
HEY MAN, YOU IS THE BEST GUITARRIST OF WORLD!!!! YOU IS MY INSPIRATION!!!
This dude has it all! He can shred but with fine melodies and tons of feel!!
people, the dude is soo badass he just created a new genre, shred blues, really well done and definitely has a bluesy feel to, i feel blue when i watch this, makes me wanna throw my guitar out...jus sayin
i love this song, because it 'hasn't nothing of blues, great george

Очень чисто играет, и ни одной ноты мимо. Профессионал, одним словом! =)
Я очень давно наблюдаю за ним. Он нигде не светится... Почему??? С его то техникой. И с прекрасными альбомами.
Simply beautiful
Lot of beauty there
George is a true musician.

Hessi Michaus thanks for bringing me back again. Love his solo work on this track.
Stupid people without brain can't figure anything

Mindless shred

rare picking technique, nice job
Man, this guy is a mix of Malmsteen with Holdsworth. but with awesome feeling, that makes him a spice and smooth guitarrist at the same time.
One day I´ll get there
greeaat,, good job,, :)
Master...
1:32 when your guitar speaks
❤️
C'est Gérard Depardieu dans sa 1ière carrière. Il aurait pu continuer la guitare.
Flight of the bumblebee meets BB King! Milks each note for all it's worth.
@Shewolfen i think this guys done enough studying for the both of us
Amazing guitarist. Sounds like he went to the Yngvie school of Guitar. 1,000 notes per second. =) Good stuff tho'. I'd give my left ball to play HALF that well.
Wicked. Is there TAB available for this?

mee to ..i wish i could get the backing track to this but unfortuantely i dont know where to find it
run them scales!!!! up and down and up and down! Hold a note!!! now run the scales again!
Well, it's closer to Fusion than actual Blues, but I see what you mean... And his improvisation skills are great! I don't understand why you said it was terrible.
malmsteen influence!
I agree, he's repeating the same scale patterns over and over. I prefer the jazz blues. He does have a good feel and tons of chops tho. Rather hear Jeff Beck
I wanted to give a plus to your comment . Cursor missed the + . My fault . Comment ever so TRUE !!
fuck i wonder what fast blues would be ...
scary player thou..
george is awesome!!!!
His distortion is not high. I know for a fact that George sets his gain at 4. Just e-mail him and he'll reply. I've got to know George a bit through e-mail. @rexasul nice observation!....ahhmm..now can you tell the scales and phrasing he used??...
which guitar is he using??
is that a fender classic series 50´s??
greetings!! and excellent video!!
Очень интересный гитарист, но почему так мало видео???

EXTREMLY DIATONIC -- AND REPEDITIV
What might not make sense to you might make alot of sense to him, and isn't that what's most important...

The only thing slow about this is the backing track... waterfall flurries and rolling hammers, good stuff!
What kind of guitar picks does he use?
best starts from 1:34
where can i get this mp3 ?
@Shewolfen It's a I IV V progression. That is a blues progression. You seem to be under the delusion that blues must replicate something that has already been done.
You don't play a lot of blues do you?
His distortion is high ,its just how he has his tone set up
this dude makes me want to get a strat
this guy definitely a fan of Yngwie Malmsteen (The King)
I want to see him playing jazz
About as blue as a flamingo.
😂
i love his chromatic runs
Why can I not do this...
What blues? That song is the same guitar solo he plays on every song.
😂, I'll agree it's not blues. He plays a mainly neoclassical style.
Let me see if I understood...hum... into the tonal system, we have the diatonic scales (major-minor) and the chromatic scale, so what are you talkimg about??
Atonal music?
??????????????????????????
I love the amount and his chromatic runs. But most of all I love his face expression. Looks like he's high on something
*shred* *bend* *shred* *bend* *shred* *big bend* *shred*
agree. i hear slightly more vinnie moore-ish than yjm.
what? you dont hear Yngwie here? reallly...? wow
Just so you know, that's all he listened to when he was growing up
a blues is not necessary just some king song it's 12 bar or more series which follows a certain chord structure, and is often played by jazz greats, Ie miles pass coltrane
Nice , I like the feel of the whole thing in its own right , however it has nothing to do with blues in my opinion
BLUBLULULU....
lol. that is funny.
technically it should be I V IV at the end unless a quick change, so not really blues, but it is great nevertheless.
jajaj ke kapo!! es el pablo soler de usa jajaj es un fenomeno es mas personaje ke violero aguante pablito !! jajaj
que tiene eso de blues?
but can malmsteen shred like this and having the soul of stevie ray in his heart
i dont think so
I like the fact he doesn't look
lord of chromatic!!~
Sounds pretty much like Steve Morse I think.
very fluenty solo!!! i really enjoy listen to this clean sound... i just dont like the cliches licks... always finishing in key =/
i can guess what he s going to do.
@tincho9413
2:06 to 2:16??
haha
