- Although surviving Tropical Storm Alex put a bit of a damper on our plans of touring the island, we now have a few more days to explore Bermuda before we set off on what will be by far our longest, most challenging journey, sailing 1800 nm across the Atlantic Ocean to the Azores archipelago.

You brought tears to my eyes. I felt so much nostalgia and especially when I saw the quad shot of Jobsons Cove at the beginning and then you confirmed it later. I used to swim there 3 to 5 days a week as a child. I’m in my 50’s and I watch a lot of sailing channels and have followed you pretty much from the start. Today I felt so happy to see you experience something I treasured when I was a young one. I lived there for almost 4 years near Henry the Eighth restaurant somewhat close to the highest point of the island where the lighthouse is. I’m so happy you could enjoy what I had the blessing of experiencing and really appreciate everything you shared. All of the sites in this video are so distant but so familiar. I feel very happy. Thank you for sharing.
It's so special to see a very memorable place portrayed well on video. I think you appreciate the quality of the video making when you see something like this.
I am retired but stayed busy traveling, kayaking, and drone photography until covid hit. I had heard of TH-cam but never watched it before. The first channel I located was when Atticus 1 was on its way to Mexico where they worked for others. I watched an episode every night from the beginning and went thru withdrawal when I caught up. Now I am subscribed to about 20 channels, with different channels from Pilot Institute to Sailing Millennial Falcon, but never miss the Atticus II every Saturday. They have the best camera work and editing of any I have followed.
Thanks for making my Saturday morning. As a kid it was cartoons. As a adult. It's dreaming of these great adventures.

My wife and I met in Bermuda (now married 18 years) by chance and have tried to go back every year or every other, with the events of the world throwing us all off… It was a joy to see it again through your eyes.

Bermuda sure has changed since 1976. I spent four days there when we sailed in during the mini Bermuda race (Marion Massachusetts start) I rented a moped and was one of hundreds of mopeds on the road. There weren't but a handful of cars and most of those were taxis. Went scuba diving having received my nasds certification the year before and, Bermuda spoiled me. I really lost my enjoyment for diving in Northern waters. I remember the groupers hovering behind each of the divers and assuming there had to have been one behind me but every time you turned around to look at them they would simply move to the new position behind you! LOL ...great fun.

Last time we were in Bermuda we rented the same electric car, it was a lot of fun. Went to all those beaches also.

Bon Voyage and you're living my dream in reverse.. My final great adventure is to sail with captain and crew and other passengers on hopefully a large old like sailing vessel to sail from the Azores or such to the Carribean .. NYC... Boston or Portland Maine closest to my home .. Probably only have a few years left and love sailing but never did even a short ocean passage .. unless the Chesapeakde.. Long Island Sound or Penobscot Bay counts as a grand passage? I'll enjoy you passed and already am. Bermuda looks so wonderful...Maybe that would be my destination from the East .. ???

I lived on St David’s Island for years ( the other side of St George’s harbor). You did a really great job of capturing the beauty of the islands for everyone. Wahoo is the best tasting fish I have ever eaten.
I know that, by now, you've probably completed the crossing, but, fair winds all the same!
I just rode Sherika, the coaster at Busch Gardens. Jordan described it perfect. Safe travels. Can't wait to see you again next week.
When we were there the roads were not filled by cars, in fact, very few. They were filled with 125 cc and down scooters, thousands of them.....saw very few in your current video. Must have been a change. Had to own a home to have a car there back in 1997

I so wish I had known about Bermuda and its beauty a few years ago. I would have found some means to get there. It reminds me of Panama with rocks, and Australian prices.
