Im proud of how far ranking of kings has gone there was a time all of us thought this woudnt even be worth a mention but this show has come far if it wasent for AOT there would be a very real possibility for ranking of kings to be anime of the year

Budgets and other things are big game changers when it comes to animating stuff)

Why does the king of the underworld look like a rick and morty character? He literally looks like that guy that killed himself in the Mortys mind blower episode.
It gets me real sad how this gem gets ignored by the mainstream. Instead, people only focus on cute anime girls and popular animes instead of a great story and characters. This show literally gave us Best Boy and Best Opening(s) for this year and before it. It is even perhaps the anime of the year, even though it wasn’t nominated ( which is a crime). This is the only anime that got me counting for the next episode by the second, at the edge of my seat waiting for the plot twists and backstories.

Spoilers Strongest doesn’t mean unlimited stamina. Skill-wise, Boji had Ouken beat. He was faster and had a fighting style that voids the strength(physical) gap. The problem is that that’s apparently meaningless against an immortal. Boji struck his pressure point(s) repeatedly and it didn’t do anything. After realizing this, Ouken only had to bide his time and attack in vain to tire Boji out. Boji had limited stamina like any other living being. Ouken didn’t. It’s the exact reason Despa didn’t want them fighting. He knew for a fact that Boji couldn’t win that match-up.

Which is another reason Boji’s fighting style didn’t work. Boji fights using his rapier to cut off blood circulation and make the opponent faint … or worse. Ouken’s “blood” was pitch black and was actively pulling him, his armor, and his sword back together effortlessly. There’s no logical blood flow to disrupt. Ouken’s … existence was essentially the kryptonite to Boji’s style. A perfect counter that he had zero chance of beating solo. Term “strongest” isn’t so simple in an anime like this. Everyone can win. Everyone can lose. It depends on the match up and what someone can do to compensate for their weakness. I.e. Boji’s training arc.

imo, I think Ranking of kings is better than AOT season 4.
