The clean tones are decent, but the OD and distortions you have to tweek almost all of them. They really need to be edited.I found running this thru the front of amp worked better then the effects loop or pedal board. When using a strat per say, I could toggle between the 5 postions n clean up some of the OD and distortions / because you get alot of noise on alot of them ,when not playing .I personally only found a handful of od & distortion presets usable for me.I kept the pedal as their are some tones I really do like . In time if you go thru presets you can edit & tweek them to your liking and overwrite the originals.Leaving you with a army of pedals in 1 pedal.I got it really for the noise gate , comp & reverb..I figure if im gonna spend 100 for 1 pedal might as well be this at least you can fix the presets to what you want.Owning the pedal myself , I find myself asking whoever programmed the presets , were they actually a guitar player..Also to share with you all , the pedal works better using a power supply then batteries and doesnt play well with anolog pedals .Meaning if you try and add this to your pedal board , clean tones you'll be good , but the other presets expect to edit them, especially if your using a strat.Youll find the 5 pos toggle switch on guitar will be your friend .Best of wishes all, keep jamming
IMO, one of the reasons why Zoom hasn’t achieved the same level of success & popularity with its modelers, as other companies ….is ‘cause of sh*tty factory presets, like ‘Krampus’. Another is ’cause those who buy their modelers seem to always insist on playing through those same sh*tty presets …on social media. I have several of their products, and think they’re great. I’m also sure that you’re probably a great guitar player in your own right. Why not design & showcase some really cool presets of your own, instead? Hey, maybe Zoom will get the memo & stop embarrassing their loyal customers with presets that suck. Thx. Keep rocking. 🎸 ✌🏾
They guy is giving us a demo. He never asked for the factory presets to be critiqued. I am not a Zoom fan but enjoying shopping around. Give it a break! This is a good video to use as a buying guide. Your comments will never influence Zoom either. Stop being so passive-aggressive smug and be thankful for this straight forward demo.
The distortions are pretty sad lol, I think the way to go with those pedals is to have a normal analog distortion and then have the modulation/space effects with this, as it's where it shines
That said, I just got a MS50G and the RAT simulation is pretty decent, I'm thinking of selling my Grand Magus (this pedal is also pretty big, same size as my Grand Magus, wasn't expecting that lol)
@@raven-a I had the ms50 too for a while, and to my taste all the sounds were very poor and sterile. But if it does the job for you, better for your finances! 😁
Hi, did you compare this multistomp version with the previous version? If yes do you think that ms50+ is better than the ms50? Thank you
can the ms50+ be hacked to put the ms70+ effects (and the other way around) as in the old units?

Hello, does this new version have the Footswitch A/B List function? This feature comes in the MS50G
Does it have a kick flnge like on the g3xn and g5n????
yes
I want one...
Thanks for the video! So is this into an amp?
Also is there any tone robbing when put in/out of the signal path by a true bypass looper?
Thanks :)

this is weird, it sucked at your demo compared to others (specifically nihon reviewers)
I don't know why Zoom tries at this point. They're so far behind. Sounds absolutely terrible. 😂
It's just noise. Awful.
It sounds awful 😖
