Why everyone read the names in Spanish ? Portugal
Don't speak that language Tejo please say like in English sounds almost the same but Like "terro" Just show how this world don't respect the first global empire with conscious and a bit more cultur would be nice
It wasn't like Spanish, it was like Portuguese with an accent on the o. Might as well have pronounced it in English, but maybe this guy didn't know better. It doesn't surprise me, it feels weird trying to pronounce Portuguese words to people in English who don't understand Portuguese n yet act surprised when they hear Portuguese is pronounced different. It's like; "duh, did you expect it to be like English? It's called Portuguese for a reason, it's not English.
Actually you confused me when you said Terro. Tejo he did pronounce like Spanish, because he didn't know any better. Now if it were spelled Terro and not Tejo, then it would have been close. However if he did pronounce Tejo in English it would have been closer to Portuguese.
The Town and the name all Arabic, all the castles and fortresses are Arabic
