One of the best and most underrated franchises of all time not only of the PlayStation but gaming in general.
I miss this franchise and the Killzone series
Back then i wished they made a crossover. Helghast vs Chimera. Now that would have been a cool exclusive for the Playstation
Sony could have made a PS5 port of Resistance and Killzone and printed money. Instead they made that POS Concord. Sony has lost it

This game needs a remake.
It's one of my favourites.
A remaster to the trilogy is enough, they are probably waiting for PS6 to take a look on these Series to make a remaster or remake, instead of just giving us a remaster or a digital edition with minimal changes.
My only complaint on this grand game is that they turned back into a silent protagonist unlike the second one which when you play as Hale, he did speak during the game.

Man I really felt bad for Nathan Hale. when the game resistance 2 was ending with Hale being infected you could see in his eyes though yellow he wanted to be put out of his misery its like 2 % of his humanity was still in there .He was telling Joe ;Just kill me please'.
Then Joseph does, and gets dishonorably discharged. That's what you get for showing traces of humanity in the army, I guess.

Insomniac games, I know you loved your games a lot, and you put a lot of work in making sure your games didn’t disappoint gamers.
You loved the Resistance trilogy and the 2 spinoffs Resistance games that came with it.
Please if you’re able to, please bring back Resistance Trilogy and Resistance burning skies in a big collector’s edition for the PlayStation 5, please do it, don’t let your old games die.

This game is such an underrated masterpiece ! Despite it's very scarce narrative flaws, it was such a leap forward in regard to the first two games in terms of game mechanics and dramatic tone.
Watching this is more exciting than playing modern shooters. Why TF won't Sony just remake these gems and continue the franchise. Killzone, the order, the list goes on.
Can't believe Sony would rather Remaster Horizon than Bring back this Franchise as well as KILLZONE, what a waste!

Honestly the least loved level was the one against human, but this game has the most important and sometimes the bestest moments in the series.
I liked every piece of what had been so attractive about Fall of Man returning in this third instalment.
These games are so freaking good, wow. They deserve a proper remaster for PC and current gen consoles.
All we have is rpcs3 on pc that lets us play all resistance games with unlocked fps and 4k quality
Ah yes, this game. The game that CORRUPTED a good chunk of my first model's PS3 memory space beyond repair. And it was a first party Sony published title to boot.
One of the best Insomniac Games best original IP title franchises. Sadly it'll never continue as it confirmed by the CEO in his 2014 Resistance cancellation video.

Just bought resistance 1&2 for my original ps3 that took a crap and wouldn’t read either disc🤦🏼♂️ then went to my local video game store (not GameStop) and had to get another ps3 but the slim one and it’s nice..now I’m able to play the first resistance and then on to the second..and just got the 3rd one from eBay😝👍🏻

So I know the first Resistance was seen in a positive light. How did the third installment fair in comparison to the previous two?
The Secong game had a more "cinematic" campaign, but the third game is an improvement in almost everything in comparison to the previous entries, it just misses a bit of PVE content which the second game had.
Been watching every resistance game on TH-cam because they were just added to PS Plus this last week, and i've gotta say: I always advocate for continuing this series, but after seeing the gunplay for this entry in particular I really am thinking "WHY DO WE NOT HAVE A SEQUEL TO THIS!?" Like Microsoft just bought COD, and Sony want to argue its unfair, but with the potenial between this franchise and Killzone, like it really doesn't have to matter - this game looks INCREDIBLE! It really is a beauty - and this is over 10 years old! Think of what this game could be today if it was continued! Call of Duty is old and stale; there hasn't been a genuinely great COD game since BO2 imo, the rest are just par for the course. This series could blow COD out the water! Killzone too. Sony best get their s*** together man

This series is really garbage all things considered, i had an awfull experience on resistance 1 but it was my favorite gameplay wise. 2 was my favorite for set pieces and story. 3 is just scripted events after scripted events it's not fluid. Im forcing myself to finish it so much omg it sucks. I can't belive i used to liked that shit back in the days

What bothers me a bit is that the resolution seems to be scaled low. While in the first part the game is sharp throughout, in the second part a significantly higher resolution image is only visible at the beginning. A little later you can see poor edge smoothing and clearly reduced resolution. that's too bad. Nevertheless, it is a top trilogy in the first person shooter sector.
