It takes two, flying IFR with Julie to Groningen-Eelde (EHGG)

An IFR flight to keep up the skills, my little girl tags along so we combined this flight with a short hop over to Ameland (EHAL), I made a seperate video of that part of the flight. I truely enjoy flying with Julie and made a few memorable flights with her this year. I hope you enjoy this video as it is as much about flying as it is about enjoying the company of a very special little co-pilot, hence a little longer than usual.
The video ends with a memory of Sandra. This week we lost Sandra Beijneveld-Drijver, she was the keeper of the airport cafe at the time I started flying gliders at Teuge when I was 16 years old until I was quite a few years older, so she was always there when we were flying, even joining flying trips to Aosta and other ventures. We lost touch the past years as I quit flying gliders and did not frequent the airport as much, I saw her last this summer when she had already fallen gravely ill. She has gone too soon and will be missed!
For filming I use GoPro 4's (1080, 60 fps wide lens setting), a DJI Spark drone and an iPhone X. I edit with Adobe Premiere Pro and use epidemicsound.com for the music.

@@missedapproachmark Ik lees over de Golze ADL180 die ja aanschafte -- kun je daarmee (ook in Nederland) alle VFR-verkeer zien in SkyDemon? Dat zou ik namelijk best graag willen, omwille van de veiligheid..

@@Pappadumful hij geeft inderdaad ads-b traffic door (ADS-B in) aan foreflight en skydemon. Als het je daar enkel om te doen is, dan zijn er ook andere alternatieven beschikbaar. Ik gebruik de ADL180 hoofdzakelijk voor het weer op langere vluchten.
