Nice swale...but if your wanting to do deeper with a dozer you can after you make your contour cut. turn and push into the cut and push up the berm...depending on the ground having rippers make it a lot easier.....nice video

Awesome! Yes I can imagine how much quicker a dozer could cut a swale but yes it won't be as deep. Use what you've got. Anything is better than nothing. They can plant the low side with clover then next year they can scoop the organic matter that collects in the swale and dump it on the downhill side. Good times!
