The title of the video...can be improved. I know content creators would want to use sensational clickbait titles. The titles' for past videos are still reasonably related to the content. But the title of this video feels off when I hear what MP Baey shared.
The people that complain about him using too much social media don't really understand how it works. At the end of the day, he needs to get his name out there no matter the age. social media like tiktok engages with the younger people, which is good because they are not the ones watching tv, so the chances of them not knowing is a lot higher. Since they are always online you should meet them at where they are active. which is social media.
It's good that this topic is being brought up and re-assessed. No matter PMA or PMD, it really cause alots of inconvenience to passengers. Bicycles is also another nuisance device which should be looking into and re-assess. How many people or elderly have been knocked down by these devices and died while walking on the pathway? Beside bicycle, all PMD and PMA users should be given a documents PROVEN by Doctor in order to use. And new rules and regulations for BICYCLES should be implement too. The roads is dangerous I understand, but even the pathway are filled with PMD, PMA and Bicycles everywhere, then where should the passengers be walking?
this mp doesn't even know what is the real situation on the ground. Last time want the public to take a photo of the errant rider in their face to report them.
Since LTA increased enforcement from 2020, people getting injured from PMD/bicycle on sidewalks had been only 1 per year. No one has died. The cyclists involved were also charged and penalised in court. Now, it is the pedestrians whom needs to be responsible and be aware. On routes along East Coast Park and along Jurong Lake from Science Centre to Chinese Garden MRT to Lakeside MRT, pedestrian paths and bicycle/PMD paths are segregated for each group - bicycle logo is painted to the route ground and vice versa. There also signs along the route. Yet pedestrians want to violate the norms and go onto cycling path. You want new rules? Maybe get the pedestrians to follow existing rules that are yet to be followed in popular parks first.
@@thewaterbearer16 It's not about new rules. This guy set so many laws but no enforcement. 1 per year is reported injury. We do not wait until people are hurt to take action. There are still many of those idiots out there if you look.
@@gohshuifayou can’t expect government to monitor everything. We just have to be civil and civic if we do not want to be enforced with rule that can’t be enforced without burdening ourselves with more taxes to hire manpower to do so.

can we have an epsoide where you guys share how you guys choose what type of company environment will you guys choose to work in as I'm currently at that stage and I'm not sure which company to choose where one has good pay but bad working environment while the other is bad pay but good working environment.
I was looking at stuff on the shelf in NTUC and this uncle on the PMA shouted at me for blocking his way and drove straight into me (on purpose) and hit me and continue scolding me after I stumbled and backed away
Sadly the use of PMAs been misused. Who does the monitoring of use of PMAs? Also, for PMBs at times still notice riders does not have proper safety wearable when on roads, while most do, some just don’t.
Always take action slow ..those shops selling strong PMA etc should know Singapore speed limit or why didnt they need to go thru authorities for permission to sell them ? They need to get PMA ...for checking speed limit 1st before selling .
Maybe what you said is rite ...im just a cleaner and just got hit by PMA ... so you are working with hight level job ? No wonder you talk like one of them ....
baey kim yam, he being a MP, busy a job as he describes it, but it oso sounds like a high pay and just a general and easy job, eg., solving general problems like PMA, PMD
Thank god u guys decide to wear pants rather than burmudas. However, in order to show good mannerism, please sit properly for the 2 guys from the right. I know this is a casual talk but I think is a form of respect to our MP. There r young people watching your show and I hope u guys can project a positive and respectful mannerism. Good show btw.
Talk only but no ground perspective. People are still misusing PMA. Small kids are still riding PMD freely. e-bike are still catching fire in HDB. And having their colleagues stupidly wearing bright vests to 'alert' errant riders from far away. Just wear plain clothes and you will catch more of them. LTA totally doesn't know what is happening on the ground.
i think it is said in the vid that the law act more as a deterrence than rly ‘catch and fine people on purpose’. Thats why singaporeans cant have good things. Govt say this complain. say that complain. how ah liddat
He used to be tanjong pager group MP.. 1 of the best.. Veri caring & always helpful. Wish him good health

You seriously think LTA don't know? They just don't want to be too heavy handed. If really want enforcement daily will have news
@khokl9288 So, they know there is a problem and decide to ignore it? Having the power and refusing to use it is the same as abusing their power.
