Teacher Supports and Instructional Coaching

GISD educators have said that another great reason to be in the district is the professional development and growth opportunities. Teachers are provided support through mentoring, New Teacher Academy, and Instructional Coaching. Once teachers are developed, we offer pathways of leadership through the Aspiring Leaders Academy where they can pursue pathways into a variety of leadership roles. Investing in our staff yields dividends that will ultimately benefit both our teachers and our students.
