freezing the white and then using them straight into the shaker is a game changer, both to minimize prep and also to come in handy when you don't have tons of space for tons of ice cubes.

4) How are macaroons different from macarons?
5) How is macarons, dacquoise, and biscuit jaconde different?
Macaroons are a chewy coconut or almond biscuit which is not meringue based like macarons are.

I’ve been waiting about this! I have a giant egg white block (2-4 cups I think) and idk what to do with it. I can’t portion it out to use it so it’s just sitting there. This was from the dark ages before I discovered ice cube trays.

Have you tried using what's left of the egg white in the shell on your face? It's great---let it dry, then rinse it off. You'll look and feel years younger! I was told this many years ago by a Romanian princess (not kidding) who was a ramp model for Nina Ricci.
