I had access to over 600 acres on one side of the road and another 1,000 on the other side. One owner turned me down, very nastily that he didn't allow hunting. OK, and I moved on. Every year I'd get the slips signed and bypassed this farm, except this time he chased me down offering me the property to hunt. The summer before, one of his tractors ran into a ground hog hole, turning the tractor over and he required a helicopter flight to the trauma center. Ask for permission. I really enjoy your videos, I watch all of them and I am subscribed. That being said, I do not think you handled this situation right. The dude is obviously new to the sport, he has an old climber 8 feet off of the ground... Come on man, we probably lost another outdoorsman because of the way this was handled.
110% percent agree, this Sitka wearing influencer could have just talked to the guy. I’m the first to get pissed off by trespassers, but in no way did this guy have malicious intent to poach.
Dude probably didnt hear you the first time. Leaves crunching loud and he was walking. Seems like a honest mistake blown way out of reason. All this over a acre of land in a backyard lmao
Reminds me of the day when some dude had permission on neighbors land and tried to kick me off my own land. I laughed in his face , told him to get off my land and learn the damn boundaries. Dumb
As a fellow hunter, I understand the excitement of having a deer within range. It's just poor taste to shoot a doe with an unweaned fawn. I do agree with you calling the game warden with a trespasser though. She helped you clarify the laws and gave the trespasser more (accurate) information in picking out a hunting spot. The guy could have called the wildlife dept. for clarification, but he didn't. You also never know when a trespasser will escalate the situation. Lesson learned for him.
Yappy it’s just a ford!!! No big deal or loss buddy!!! You would definitely much happier in a Chevy!!! I actually hit a big big buck several years ago and it ended up knocking the deer out!! After stopping to try and get a picture of the deer and see if my truck was ok or not?? I was checking my truck out because I thought I had ended up killing the deer but as soon as I got done checking out my truck I was walking down the ditch to go check on the buck and he sat up as I was looking over the edge and walking towards him!! As I got closer he ended up hearing me and then was barely able to get up but he did and ran off!!! I can definitely tell several other stories about some really tough deer and if I would not have witnessed some and another buddy also seeing the same thing I would definitely have a hard time believing also!!! Well hopefully they will fix your truck!!!

Why do states not have public hunting land? I live in Arkansas and we have a lot of WMAs and I could not imagine living in a state that does not value its hunters enough to set aside government land for hunters to hunt without having to beg land owners for permission to hunt. States like that SUCKS!!!
Georgia the stat this happened in there are thousands and thousands of acres of WMA’s you are able to hunt legally. This guy simply saw some land and walked in and was trying to hunt illegally
Calling the warden on that guy and the way you handled that was bullshit. Shitty way to treat anyone especially a new hunter. Dude was not even hunting your property, he was hunting property owned by the city he pays taxes for and you just had to fuck with him.
An honest hunter is well aware of the law and rules. I have never met an honest hunter who didn't know the law and rules. I have met many poachers and they always say they didn't know or that they did the research and thought they were lawful. Poachers always have excuses. Lawl hunters always take accountability for their actions. Few are in between, especially bow hunters.
Did that doe cross the "property" line? And if so, did you have permission to retrieve? If not, then guess what you are. No retrieval footage? She was covering some ground. Didn't see her go down. Hmm
@Yappy quite the comeback. But no answer to the questions. It was either, No, she didn't, or, yes she did, and I had permission to retrieve, OR, ....I did something wrong so I'll just call somebody a name.

Where's the poacher? I think you' meant to say trespasser. Btw I can't stand a snitch you should have handled it like a man and talked with him. Not everyone has money to be paying fines especially if he has a family.
it was his property and i think he said he shot a deer to on yappys property he can do what he wants if its his land geez
He told them he was on city land. If anything the guy doing the video is gatekeeping. Looks like he ain’t got enough land to hunt, if he’s 20 yards from a guy on city land, House 60 yards behind him. Tell me he ain’t shooting into it that city land. “Poacher” or possibly new hunter trying to find unpressured spots. Now he’ll have fines and a record cause of some douche needing content and an addiction to likes and strangers validation.
@aliesenfelt he said it was yappy land though so I am confused 😕 and the dude ignored yappy to everyone he asked a question idk 🤷♀️
@@littlebigkicker he may have thought it was an adjacent homeowner who was harrassing him on public and so ignored. The second time he definitely was close enough to him to get a response.I’m quite certain it isn’t his property having watched it through, just next to it. He says while reporting and later on he was on public owned. Guy probably used onX hunt app or something , it’ll tell you the gov owns it but you’ve got to verify it’s legally huntable. And there’s usually no shortage of people with an interest in blocking you from any piece of land even if it is legal to be there.
I think in the end it’s a good video for him in terms of we’re discussing it 🤷. These guys post things that are controversial for the interactions it generates. Got me I guess. This is literally first I’ve seen of “yappy”. He could’ve refrained from getting the guy in trouble. Scared or looking for content. “Tresspasser” ain’t got the craxkhead/thief look, looks like a guy trying to hunt. Maybe make a vid showing him a place or two.
Couldn’t agree more!
Poachers and trespassers are infuriating, 99% of trespassers KNOW they are trespassing yet they still try the "i didn't know" excuse.
I really enjoy your videos, I watch all of them and I am subscribed. That being said, I do not think you handled this situation right. That guy was trying to get into hunting (probably from watching your and Lee's videos) and to end with a court date when all he did was misinterpret what "public land" is.
WOW good thing you caught him in the act. How’s your wife doing and the baby. Give us an update please. ❤
Anti hunter,. Trying to disrupt your hunting
Taylor always in the situations
Got to love the videos. I know what the problem is with your truck though, "it ain't got no gas in it"
The Ole window? I'm confused cause weren't you tapping the headlight?
Is this a poacher or a life insurance ad 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Hunted for 50 yrs ...NEVER took a doe with a spotted fawn tagging along.
I’ve dealing with this myself and man is it frustrating. Just be careful man .
Bro dude was like drunk on that gun
I appreciate the game warden i live in ohio an poaching is horrible in my area i hunt one spot its 92 acres there will be 6 or 7 trucks in the parking lot an almost every guy in there is hunting just outside the boundaries and there Illegal Stands and bait piles Last year someone shot my Tires out
Lol
Good education moment.
That warden has a nice fupa
Why do states not have public hunting land? I live in Arkansas and we have a lot of WMAs and I could not imagine living in a state that does not value its hunters enough to set aside government land for hunters to hunt without having to beg land owners for permission to hunt. States like that SUCKS!!!
Georgia the stat this happened in there are thousands and thousands of acres of WMA’s you are able to hunt legally. This guy simply saw some land and walked in and was trying to hunt illegally
Only one min into the video and that dude sounded like he was trying to bring an elephant down with that many rounds.
Calling the warden on that guy and the way you handled that was bullshit. Shitty way to treat anyone especially a new hunter. Dude was not even hunting your property, he was hunting property owned by the city he pays taxes for and you just had to fuck with him.
If the shots were coming your way you would hear the bullets whizzing and ricocheting from limbs and you definitely wouldn't be laughing.
You know you could have gotten a tag right there on the roadside and kept that buck that you hit.
An honest hunter is well aware of the law and rules. I have never met an honest hunter who didn't know the law and rules. I have met many poachers and they always say they didn't know or that they did the research and thought they were lawful. Poachers always have excuses. Lawl hunters always take accountability for their actions. Few are in between, especially bow hunters.
we just had a permit blackpowder hunt and heard basically that! text started flying! lol
Did that doe cross the "property" line? And if so, did you have permission to retrieve? If not, then guess what you are. No retrieval footage? She was covering some ground. Didn't see her go down. Hmm
Only a poacher would comment this lol
@Yappy quite the comeback. But no answer to the questions. It was either, No, she didn't, or, yes she did, and I had permission to retrieve, OR, ....I did something wrong so I'll just call somebody a name.
@user-xp6vy4pi8b you are 100% right this dude obviously was bullied his entire life 😂
Another Sitka wearing hunting “influencer” that wasn’t man enough to deal with the problem without the law involved. This type of crap is really what’s bringing down hunting. All these TH-cam warriors are really desperate for views and have really ruined it for a lot of younger hunters.
Great detective work Yappy
Great Job Tristen
Thought he said it was city property? In my area they give archery only permits to hunt withing the city limits on state and city property.
8:55 what is that little cluster of what looks like leaves just slowly floating towards dude???
Sounds like he’s at war lol
Awesome bro 👍 🇺🇸🗽
I used to live in Gwinnett but I'm in Florida now. The deer here are so small it makes me miss GA. I used to hunt in a real special spot close to them seek one guys. I shot my biggest buck sitting next to a swimming pool in a neighborhood off of Haynes Bridge Rd. 😅
What kind of equipment do you film with?
Thank seekone they got everyone and their brother on urban hunting enjoy it now few years from now It will be crap
Love your videos man
Dang Karen do you call the police on your neighbors music being too loud at 3 pm too?? Hope your proud of your doe with her fawn. Great job hero.
Why would you snitch on man trying to get food?
Good going thanks love your video
This is the first hunting video of yours I have seen. I have been following Jake, you and Jordan for several years with the underwater treasure (murder weapon) hunting. Great job young fella and congratulations on the coming baby!
Hi, Tristan. Love the content of this compilation video. Jason got himself a nice doe. What happened with the buck that got hit by your truck? (hey, that rhymes) Nice job with the poacher. It's better that he learns the rules from the start. Thanks for sharing. Stay healthy and safe 👍
Love the video. Shocked at all the Kens and Karens whining on here. Dear Lawd help some of these pansies
So how is it poaching
Good vibes 😅
V EXCITING MADE MY HEART BEAT
Great video!
