- This is my entry into the Great Guitar Build Off 2023. For this year, I have built a semi-hollow baritone guitar for a very dear friend of over 20 years: my TaeKwon-Do instructor. Hope you enjoy!

I like the way you recovered from the setback. Anyone who has spent time building, like really really building guitars, onows that shit happens and its how you pivot and adapt. TBH when drilling my ground wire I punched through the back, this is after i had numerous router issues. I commend you in finishing and fomingbout in the end with a gorgeous build, Cade.
Nice work, but do yourself a favor and get yourself a cartridge mask for when you spray if you are going to continue doing this.

Frets aree crooked, tuning machines are out of alignment. This is an example of a sloppy build
I was thinking the same thing..... started out ok, then became progressively more apparent that it was turning out ........ mmmmm, not so great.
Lots of praise in the comments, but hardly any constructive criticism.
The details matter a lot in guitar building.
@@moonboogien8908 I was thinking there was some suspect woodworking techniques as I was watching, but I didn't want to be a negative Nelly, as they say..
Sounds like an old harmony or something of the like. I guess it’s not bad for a first attempt but won’t even hold tune. 🤷🏻♂️
those tuning pegs/holes are all over the place. gonna have some tuning issues for sure
And exactly how many guitars have you made and posted on here? Oh.... That's right, none. So why even comment when you don't know what you can and cannot do with building a guitar?
How exactly missaligned tuners change stability ? As far as i know tuning issues happen when nut is done wrong and strings tend to bind in it. Its not even 3+3

You do not have the right to shoosh me like a petulant child. I have been making guitars for years and posting on social media alllllll along the way. The good the bad and everything in-between. I have EXPERIENCE in building and also in having trolls like you, who don't have a leg to stand on, try to drag people down to make themselves feel better because they are jealous that someone had the guts to do something cool or insecure because they realized that they could never do anything like that or just an asshole who cannot feel good unless they shit on someone else. Regardless, I see you for what you are and will call you out for being a nasty troll that has absolutely no authority to speak on this topic... So perhaps you should take your own advice and shoosh.

I don’t build guitars but I want to try. And I am absolutely sure, my first one will be a better build 😅
Way, way out of tune. I'm surprised you have the motivation to learn how to make a guitar, but not to tune one. On the plus side, nice looking guitar man.
