What a refreshing morning walk by the river with locals doing yoga as the Moon looks down at the happy Teletubbies in the river. Your breakfast rice-wrapped bun with crunchy stuffed surprise makes for a enervating start for an exciting day ahead.

If you don't know the fact of Xindian, this district was the capital city of the exiled Fujian Province of the ROC from 1956 to 1996 when they militarized Kinmen, Matsu and Wuqiu islands from the CCP.

xindian literally means "New Shop", to name a historical area...
A lot roads still don't have sidewalk, Taipei is actually better than other parts of Taiwan, that's one of the few things I don't like about Taiwan.
