Pranam Pandit Ji while playing in vilambit ektala after sum whether we have to directly play Vistar or remaing line of the Bandish in first Avaratan of the beat cycle.?I am so much confused while playing Vilmbit Ektala many artist directly start Vistar and many will play all the lines of the Bandish as vocalist sing
It depends the same way we do for madhya lay and drut.
Complete Bandish is played for the 1st avartan or sometimes 2nd and 3rd depends on the tempo/lay .
But for the vilambit as tempo is a bit slower We play bandish for 1st avartan mostly then vistar.
Yes Still it isn't compulsorily set to be played according to Counting the avartans
It can be for 1,2,3 avartan as far as you feel like playing it..
And for presenting gayaki on Bansuri guruji has done few changes in Bandish presentation in vilambit, as we lack lyrics in instrument he don't play fixed composition for the whole avartan because N----R----G-RS Or piiiiiiiiiiii yaaaaa moseeeeeee has no difference in a instrument so, instead he drops the main bandish line on sum in 1st avartan and starts vistar from the same Avartan and so on..
At the end I must state that it's his way of seeing the music , If you feel like playing the whole composition for the complete avartan you can .
