Love Hariji and his music, only thing I never liked was his ego... I mean I know we all have our egos, but I remember in an interview he told the guy about how you have to be better than the next guy, and was basically bragging about being the best. To be better than the next guy is not the way to look at music. In fact because its subjective, no one can truly be the best, because we all have our opinions and they are all valid. He should have just focused more on being the best version of himself. Just focusing on beating his own records. Also whats going on at 7:33? Are they comparing him to Krishna? hmmm. Anyway, some other flute players that I would say are just as good as Chaurasia are Pannalal Ghosh, Rajendra Prasanna, and Ronu Majumdar. And they all have such unique and different styles!
U Made so much effort about making ur own Point that I think its U having an Ego Problem. I doubt that Pt. Chaurasia has an Ego Problem. U cannot be that good as he is as a musician if U would have to carry ur own ego around, no way. Saying contrary pulls him down which He certainly does Not deserve.
