I actually lived in cuarto this year and personally I enjoyed it!! Cons The only con I can think of is the distance but its not bad if you plan on biking it to class, walk (which I did most of winter quarter) or riding the unitrans( which I did mist of fall quarter) there us a bus stop for the P and K line across the street from cuarto. Pros 1.BIGGER ROOMS FOR THE SAME PRICE (I am talking about yosemite hall since I lived there) I was in a two bedroom suite, there is a three bedroom suite aswell in Yosemite and those rooms have double showers and toilets. I shared a room with two other people and the rooms are large enough that it doesn't feel packed. Basically you are paying the same price as those living on campus but you get more room space and own showers. 2.THE DINING COMMON Its true, cuarto does have the best food! The DC does not get packed compared to Segundo, obviously since we are not on campus, but honestly it's a plus. The only downside is that since the DC serves a few students compared to Segundo. The dc closes early at around 8pm Mondays thru Fridays, all day Saturday and then opens up at 5pm on Sundays. 3. CLOSE TO FOOD PLACES AND STORES We are next to traders Joe's and the university mall which has subway,Boba shops, Hawaiian bbq, a bike shop etc. Rite aid is also really close.
