I’ve never been formally trained in design, I’ve just always had a knack for art. Glad to know after my first infographic some of this stuff came natural but it’s great to see how strategic it should be! Great content!
Thanks for this infographic video series & ebook! I learned a lot of useful tips, even as a designer! Some of them reinforced my existing knowledge of design principles, while others were helpful tidbits of info that I would definitely keep in mind as I work on my current infographic project!
Creating a wireframe Deciding on a VISUAL THEME Choosing a COLOR SCHEME Choosing FONT COMBINATIONS Select and use the RIGHT ICONS Creating Background Images Choose images that evoke the right emotions Use fonts that reinforce your message Make text readable Use a degree of transparency to create contrast Place text in portions that are less busy Integrating photo elements Section Dividers You can use arrows, lines, ribbons, number, geometrics shapes Highlight figures and stats You can use frame key points, visualized numbers represent percentages, visualizing statistics and large amounts
The content is very well thought out and fully relevant. Images to illustrate your points are clear and to the point. Thank you for this brilliant series! Very helpful!
Nice presentation. My question is which software should be used to build an infographic, Microsoft word PowerPoint or what? I couldn't decide. Thank you for this video
Good question; we've gotten bunch of those. The intro is created by our design agency HindSite Interactive. www.hindsiteinc.com . Believe they used combination of illustrator and aftereffects.
just went through parts 1 to 4 and now I don't have the energy to watch the part 5 because there's soooo much info. HAHA it's HARD to make an infograph
We broke into a few parts; but it's not has hard as it may seem; check out this video on how you can create one easily: th-cam.com/video/OQV5-GemEqY/w-d-xo.html
@@TheDazzlerTube Adobe XD could work (though it's mostly for UI), but for vector graphics and visual presentations, Illustrator would probably be the best option in terms of Adobe apps.
