    It's amazing how difficult it is to find good information on infographic creation here on TH-cam. Ninety-eight percent of the videos I've found so far are just Photoshop speed runs of creating slick looking elements with no meaning behind them. This is a very good series. Thanks!

    So bullet-point list with logos is a "no-go" (3:15), but if you put a guy in the middle - it's a "go" (5:30)? Looks like "5. Well-structured" part doesn't work too good with "3. Provide a new angle" part.

    I confused. You mention about 1:25 that Infographics are tall form, and not slides. However, in Visme the templates are like 8.5" x 11" slides. I am trying to create a presentation which is made of templates. When I show the finished product it will be a series of slides (templates

    • @rickdytewski8880
      @rickdytewski8880 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can you please explain how tall form is different than the template or how one would create a tall form?

    • @VismeApp
      @VismeApp  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rick great question. Tall form simply refers to a single page taller than normal (1 page) letter head. In case of Infographics they are often longer than a page; they can be pretty much as tall as you need them to be to effectively express and visualize your data/story. For example in Visme we know of users with infographics short as 1000 pixels high and some approaching 7000+ pixels.

    Paid maternity leave in the USA is 12 weeks under The Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993.

    • @stephaniecrahal5336
      @stephaniecrahal5336 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately, PAID maternity leave is not a part of that act. The U.S. does not guarantee paid leave to its citizens. However, some corporations may offer paid leave as a benefit if they choose. "The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) enables some employees to take up to 12 weeks unpaid maternity leave but only 60% of workers are eligible".
      www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/jan/27/maternity-leave-us-policy-worst-worlds-richest-countries
      There is a bill that just passed that allows federal employees 12 weeks of paid leave. It's called the Federal Employee Paid Leave Act.

      The leave for time off is protected, but it is not paid. Some states have it, but the vast majority don't. Employers could potentially offer paid maternity leave, but most do not.
