If you use it 4v mini battery its ok.. don't use it with high load...and main things you will get shock if you plug in reverse mode in ac supply...so. dont use this, use transformers base power supply which is safe and useful..

It will not give shock if phase(live) wire is connected to the open end of the pf(where bridge is not connected)...to ensure this, mark L and N on the case after seeing in which orientation tester bulb is glowing on dc output side.

If you connect three pf in parallel and use 5408 or rectifier ic instead of 4007 current will increase, not 2 A though.

You can increase the dc output ampere by using 3 pf in parallel,use 5408 or bridge rectifier ic instead of 4007....for even higher amps transformer is must....the ferrite core miny transformers used nowadays in mobile charger adaptor will serve the purpose,else using bigger transformer will make it bulky and expensive.
