Amritsari fish fry

- Welcome to “eat taste cook”, Partho’s Desi Global Kitchen - let’s praise the lord and start our journey with a truly globally local delicacy - Amritsari Fish Fry. This is the winter season and winters in north Indian households seem incomplete without this signature dish of Amritsar. For all of you who want to go bow your head to the Golden Temple and have a taste of Amritsar afterwards - this is your best bet. I have seen variations of fish fry all over the world - but this one steals the cake due to its tangy yet sweet taste and fluffy from inside texture.
First Margination Ingredients:
- 500 gms Surami fish
- 2 tsp Kashmiri Red chili powder
- 1 tsp Red chili powder
- 2 tbsp Garlic Ginger paste
- 2 Lemon juice
- Salt according to taste
Second Margination Ingredients:
- 2 ½ tbsp Besan (Gram Flour)
- 1 ½ tbsp Rice Flour (Chawal ka Atta)
- 1 tsp Corn flour
- 1 tbsp Ajwain (Carom Seeds)
- 1 Egg
- ¼ cup White Vinegar (Sirca)
- 1 tbsp Mustard Oil
