Sensing North, part II

The intense collaboration between Piruetti and Klassíski listdansskólinn (KLS) in the Sensing North - multi-sensory youth dance project culminated in the Icelandic group's return visit to Karjaa in October 2024. During our shared days, we accomplished a lot.
Over the week, we created a joint dance production, visited Helsinki where we saw two professional contemporary dance works set to premiere, improvised site-specifically in various locations around Helsinki, explored the glassblowing tradition of Fiskars, and performed for a full audience at the TryckeriTeatern in Karjaa’s Focus on October 4, 2024. It was an amazing week filled with unforgettable moments and memories.
