Not gonna lie, copying an already existing artwork does not really show creativity.
This shows how Denise is stuck in notes, revision and work. She needs to get more creative, to think out of the box. Honestly her character is really well-written

Even though as a Christian, I do not believe in evolution, the drawing itself was spectacular.

I don’t get why people were so unappreciative for Ren Yi Xiang’s painting because to me it looked so good! Like if it were me painting that dinosaur, it would’ve been so much worse. Like it would look like a stick figure dinosaur painted on a canvas lol 😂. But Ren Yi Xiang’s painting was really good!

Fun fact, this painting is an actual painting, called "The Starry night."
It's creator was: "Vincent van Gogh."
Lesson from this episode, never ever go near someone's painting while that person is not in his/her seat and teachers/judges haven't mark the result of every participant's art as shown in Julynn's case with Nicole's painting. Gotta feel bad for Nicole when she put so many effort on that art.
Ren Yi Xiang still has prejudice against Pei Shi. I know she was the main reason for him going through identity crisis, but at least she is nice toward him here. I feel sorry for him that he has a teacher not appreciating what he is trying to do.
Vincent shows that he's terrible at another thing, content of his painting. I mean seriously, that's a straight "F" or "E" if you ask me, LMAO!
Finally, Maddy meet Denise at last and I laughed when Kevin point and says "This is Denise" as a reference that Maddy mistaken him as Denise when they first met.
I feel sad for Denise to have a Mom expecting her to be perfect. I can see that she is under huge pressure when something she is poor at is counted into the final result of her exam. But Jianhao being Jianhao always helping her and despite the "accidentally" messed up, it allows the teachers to give full marks to Denise for the painting. Once again, it shows that they are meant to be together.

This is officially my favourite episode, the humour is so to point and perfect. The characters have developed a lot still retaining their personality which made us love them initially , all of the scenes are soo greatly planned . Hats off to Hao and team for this masterpiece , truly had a great time watching it , totally enjoyed

I feel so bad for Ren Yi Xiang in the episode, especially when they told him to throw his painting. Even though it's just a dinosaur, he's proud of it, and I genuinely felt the message he was trying to give.
What I relate the most in this video was the digital painter lmao, I just tried painting again today and failed miserably. Then I went on to draw on my phone and I'm more proud of it. Like you could just use the paint bucket tool in digital art and it's not as messy as painting traditionally. But that's just my preference.

@@aarushigarg1333 any drawing arises from simple shapes and figures, like how a face can be an oval, or a circle with a triangle... basic shapes like that can form great drawings, i think thats what they meant :)
this would only guarantee good technique (and modern maths is more analytical than anything, as geometry is barely taught in many higher level classes if at all)
moreover the kind of creative mindset needed for visual arts is completely separate than the one you need for maths

When Ms. Sophia described Denise’s painting as “perfectly imperfect” it almost felt like she was describing Denise. Denise is good at almost everything academically, but she struggles at creative things like art. Just like someone who is perfect, but imperfect.

My fav characters are Vicky and Denise, they are so amazing!! I'm similar to Denise in personality, since my parents are pressuring and yea I love chemistry. And Vicky is way to logical for art. "Darkness represents me. And ur the one speaking to me." I feel like their mix. Also Ms.Sofia should still give Nicole an A, because she saw the accident, and also Nicole is just desprate for As in Art. As for Ren, I don't like his painting (it's too dull) but I like how he shows how society treats some artists, like scrunklie said. No one noticed his efforts and diligence in his painting, and I feel like he is such an underated character!
I just loved how Jianhao encouraged Denise when she wasn't able to think about what to draw. I just love JianHao's personality.
It saved her, otherwise Denise would fail a test for the first time since 2019(Second test she did not score maximum and that trigger angred on her mom as her mom told Denise 100 is a pass grade for her)
the fact that you can see debbie laughing and trying to hide it at 16:03 makes it more funnier.
