Not excusing his approach to the interview but you have to admit that at the time Tarantino was this larger-than-life force of nature of a director. People couldn't help but ask questions about him. Uma's performance needed time to ruminate in people's consciousness for a few years.

Charlie totally misunderstood what Uma was saying about Quentin being a self taught original director. Of course all directors are influenced by other movies and art, but her point was that he doesn't feel bound to any typical formulas or narrative styles, he believes in his vision 100%

I don't think he did as much research beforehand as he should have. Had he done his homework, maybe the questions would have generated more enlightening answers.
This film is my all-time favourite, it's memorable, unique and a little campy ngl. Also, the action scene, no one can recreate it, truly too iconic. No wonder it became a cult classic.
I remember her tweeting about him making her drive way too fast for this movie and her crashing and getting hurt. And I heard that she was upset with him for pushing her so hard physically in this movie knowing she had just had a baby a couple months before.
The moment the interviewer said so your saying Tarantino is like any other director he unveiled his objective which was to make Uma Thurman look bad.But an honest good hearted woman will only keep showing humbleness and many good deeds from her heart which pushes out trapers such as this interviewer.I just do not like that Tarantino ended up having his way with Uma total unprofessional and really shows that Tarantino was scared lost that he had to have Uma to actually feel in total control but sadly it backfired as well. Uma you are a great woman.
