    And just wanted to let you guys know that as someone who’s soon moving to Dubai, I love your routine vlogs just as much. You might think they are not interesting, but trust me they are interesting. It gives me an insight into how everyday life in Dubai is like with family.
    Annnd I would love to see more of routine vlogs as well, something like a day/week in our lives.

    I have a question for Riley and Reggie, what's the best thing they have done in Dubai since they have moved?

      For nature and hikes, theres loads around Fujairah and RAK, wadi Abadilah and wadi Al Ghuna are beautiful and fairly easy to tackle.
      Fujairah has the 2nd biggest mosque in the UAE, some Forts- Fujairah fort, Sakamkam fort and Al Hayl Castle, to name a few.
      Sharjah - Khorfakkan is beautiful,
      Al suhub rest area, is a cafe perched on top of a mountain with stunning views,
      Sharjah aquarium is lovely, its not massive, but its a nice day out
      Khor Kalba mangroves and Kalba bird of prey centre are again, not big places but a lovely day out. Rafisha dam is another nice place for kayaking.
      You should also check out Al Madam off road history museum, in Sharjah, I reckon your lads would love it 🙂

    What a lovely little spot in the middle of the desert. Have missed your weekly vlogs because they are so useful for someone like me who is still in two minds about relocating. How was Christmas in Dubai?

    • @ourdubaidiary
      @ourdubaidiary  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes it was lovely! 🤩 Christmas in Dubai of course feels very different to the UK. Firstly the weather but also we would normally be with family. We had a lovely day and celebrated with our friends. A lot of people travel or go back to where they are from for Christmas.

    So good to see you guys back after so long. Loved the video. I know life is really busy for you guys because of work and having 2 kids and balancing everything, but please keep uploading videos regularly. Ur videos are so well researched and informative. They are really helpful for people like me who are about to move to the UAE and for anyone who wants to know how life in Dubai is/will be like.
    Please make videos on your take on Dubai after living there for 6 months/1 year. God bless you and your family.

      Aww thank you! Appreciate the comment 🤩 Great to hear that the videos are helping. We will be shooting the 6 months in Dubai video soon 👌🏼 When are you moving?

      @ by October this year. Trying to avoid relocating in summer. I have two more questions, I have heard it’s a bit difficult to make friends and social connections in Dubai. How was your experience with it? Next, I will be moving there from Canada and here I have heard that the kind of salary that you get in Dubai is dependent on your country of citizenship. Is it a myth or is it true?

    Great to see a new video! Thanks for sharing your experiences and insights about Dubai. I do have a few questions around schooling if that's ok? After six months, what's your view on the school? Would you say it’s equivalent to a good UK public school? I've heard extracurricular activities can be quite costly and school time ends quite early so wondering how do you guys arrange kid's time after school? Many thanks!

    • @ourdubaidiary
      @ourdubaidiary  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thanks for the comment. Yes of course - boys have settled in so fast. It is 100% better than a public school in the UK more opportunities, more primary varied lessons than the UK. After school activities are called enrichment here in Hartland, some are free and last an hour and some are paid (these are optional). Time after school I work from home so this is fine for me. They have friends in our apartment building that they play with also which is nice. Hope this helps 😊

    Great to see you back! 👍🏻 I have relocated to Dubai now, starting property viewings on 4th Jan. I have watched your moving videos back but do you have any additional tips for viewings or things to watch out for etc? Happy new year 🎉

    • @ourdubaidiary
      @ourdubaidiary  5 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Happy New Year & Congrats on the move! I would say more of consideration than tips but maybe just work out what you want from the area you live and what amenities you would like to enjoy within walking distance. Traffic as you have probably seen already can be bad in some places so that definitely should be a consideration if you have to commute to work or kids to school etc.

    dont know, to me dubai still looks like and artificial, cultureless disneyland for tax avoiders. and i dont think that anything has changed regarding human rights, equality and freedom. why would anybody move there, instead of not paying taxes?

      @@ourdubaidiary Hell no! Ive been to the UAE and this was aweful enough. All about showing off and image in the front, at the same time they tried to hide the miserable circumstances the workers lived in. Also people seemed afraid to speak their mind as there is no real independent justice system, but ruling by power. Not to speak about womens or minorities rights. Can you pubish a video criticising the king, or do you have to expect repercussions? Because your videos look more like an advertisement than a true travel report.
