Learn how to solve a Rubik's Cube in 2 minutes 48 seconds

When I started this challenge I didn’t think I was going to be able to complete it. I legitimately contemplated scrapping this task and picking a different one instead. I’m glad I didn’t because it actually turned out to be something I really enjoyed learning. I was happy that I overcame what was initially a very challenging task for me. And lets be fair, it’s a really cool skill to master.
On Day 6, as in entered my 6th hour of practice, I was able to close my notes, sit in front of a camera, and solve the cube in increasingly quicker times than I could ever imagine. After 30 minutes of practice on the final day, I hit a new personal best; 2 minutes 48 seconds. I’m 100% sure I could get this time much lower, possibly under 2 minutes with further practice, but for now I am content with this. Hopefully the algorithms are so ingrained in my mind that I can solve a Rubik’s Cube forever more.
So that’s another task down, and another skill everyone can learn if they are willing to sit down, and put in an hours practice each evening for a week. That’s literally all it takes.
