  • We are headed to Seattle this weekend to fight in BATTLE BRICKS at BRICK CON! #lego #blog #robotics
Battle Bricks is a Battlebots-style Robot Combat competition where all competitors must be made out of Legos! We competed last year with LEGO DUCK and LEGO SKORPIOS to a 1st and 2nd place finish. This year, we are going DEEP and bringing a BRAND NEW Lego robot!
Join Zach and Diana on their journey through the LEGO store to build the PERFECT LEGO BATTLEBOT!
Would you like to fight robots yourself? Bot Bash Party brings the robot fighting directly to you! We do parties and corporate events for ages 8 and up. Located in Lafayette, CA, Bot Bash can provide our services from the Northern Sacramento region down to San Jose. For corporate events outside of state that need multiple arenas, please contact us with further details and we can accommodate.

That _sound_ as you move your hand through a truly large quantity of lego is something everyone knows. It is the first ASMR anyone is ever exposed to.

It's probably too late for this, but it is recommened that you use Buwizz parts for the motor and battery boxes. Pretty much everyone who builds Lego combat robots uses them.
Hope to see this thing win the event!

I don't think it's too late, they gave away buwizz boxes at the last battlebricks (where Diana won the giant bushing) and the motor Zach is using is a buwizz buggy motor :)

“You can never have too many legos” is something I live by.

$100 for a lego bugatti with power functions inside is worth like $400... the fact you found it for $100 is mind boggling

Lego Battlebots, who can't love that?

I love how actual heavyweight robot builders are just as enthusiastic about Lego bots as we are. ^_^
EDIT: Oh wow, you got the Bugatti for $100? That's an amazing deal. :O

I love the fact that you bought a pre-assembled lego set (i didn't even know that existed) and were then talking about how hard it is to DISASSEMBLE it.
isn't the point of Lego that it comes in bits? XD
Good vid though! Amazing that she didn't divorce you lol

Also, please do not give up on your lego battlebot, I imagine you received many tips and have a development group after taking that to Brickcon, looking forward to seeing your bot in future competitions

I did finish it. It took a few long nights. But he will see it in tomorrow’s episode.

I’m gonna be perfectly honest, I skipped the 2 of these videos cause I don’t like legos at all😂 but will give one of my favorite channels support.
    Go skorpious!

That blade that you spun up might do well in a Lego Triton!

It looks good so far but the weapon test stand needs to be cross braced. Also your weapon should not have catching points on the heavier side

On an asymmetrical bar, I would argue that it is a good idea to have specialized contact tips on the counterweight. If you get too much bite, which is common with Lego spinners that spin slowly compared to other combat robots, this will enable the bot to still get a very effective hit.

Skorpios-colored Uppercut?! That will be so cool. Buying LEGO pieces are more expensive in the Philippines as 1000 USD is equals to more than 50000 PhP.

Kinda more of a Mammoth weapon than Uppercut.

    Augh..... You're hurting my ears.
The plural of LEGO is LEGO or you may say LEGO bricks.

Can we get a list of all the sets you bought? Also, on that motor you are using for the weapon, the axel spot closer to the motor is faster, than the one father out.
