wicked video lads, your having fun and enjoying your training and for me that's what its all about. I love my jujitsu and always have fun at the club that's why I keep going back. I've watched this 5 times and think I will end up watching it another 10! Thanks for sharing with us. Cheers. :)
I have done ju-jitsu for over half my life. all i can say is that i love it and if any optunity came to train with either of these guys i would be on top of the world. great show guys!
watching your video there are many techniques you're applying that are damn good. I honestly have watched it a few times and it is right on spot and I am finding things in your movements that I've overlooked or didn't realize was there..........thank you for that gentleman.
As a wing chun player myself it's nice to see martial artist who have real " Kung Fu " in martial arts. I have watched video about ten times gives cool ideas on how to create new combinations.
Flawless seoi-nage's hahaha, and a great demo of hi you kataha jime. seeing this i kinda want to see a video with uchi mata and yama arashi. It would be sick to see you two throw them with your talent. plus that guy has some nasty ukemi!
Very good. For people that don't follow/understand these arts ( esp' the MMA UFC Types ) they tend to brush it off as nonsense, purley because they have not experienced it, but you guy's have done a great job creating a video that does portray the reality of it...Great work and great technique...as for the 'Mind' of Aikido...well they def' won't ever understand that, that's why they do MMA in the first place.
Great video guys. Best thing about what you did here is that you made it fun. Make sure the next vids keep the same "Light" tone so i can throw this out to my kung pow crowd. Best Regards, Walt
Hey thanks for the comment. But jujitsu is a (parent art) aikido, aiki jujitsu, judo all come from it. A traditional japanese style of jujitsu has everything, wristlocks, throws, breakfalls, and ground game. You may only think jujitsu is ground and pound because you only know of the most popular jujitsu that has become a household name,That would be brazilian jujitsu. Brazilian jujitsu was taught to the Brazilians from a aging japanese jujitsu master from Japan. The techniques were later changed.
nice technique, I would have to say about your opening that most MMA and UFC fighters have been some of the nicest athletes you'll ever meet and train with and work with.
This vid is great. Solid techniques guys. Really inspiring as I'm testing for Shodan in a month or so. 1 request for Mike. Can you upload another cut of that vid with the Star Wars intro taken out? Second, I'm waiting for a follow up video. Again, well done.
Hi, this was awesome, I have a little jujitsu training and am inspired by what is possible with enough experience and technique you demonstrated. Keep up the good work, Remus
All of the throws that they did you can learn in judo. It depends where you're taught what throws and such you're taught. The basis behind aikido's throws, jujitsu's throws, and judo's throws have the same mechanics as to how they're performed. If you've ever seen a higher degree black belt in judo demonstrating stuff not taught to the class, you might see how many throws and sweeps you can do from almost any position. Same can be said for aikido or jujitsu, which judo derives heavily from.
this is sick. what school of jujitsu did u study from? I've just started aikido a few months ago and love it. hopefully i'll be a fluid as you guys some day
The demo (as stated in the description) is for jujitsu. The other guy was an Aikido, hence the title. However, Aikido was created from jujitsu, so both arts use similar movements and techniques. Aikido is more focused on getting rid of an attacker than pinning him or killing him.
@framac77 Where in Scotland do you train in traditional ju-jitsu? Don't happen to know any places in Glasgow? I've been looking into starting but all I can find is Brazilian JJ, which just seems to be rolling about on the ground for sport, and Aikido (which I'd be content settling with but I'd prefer ju-jitsu). Any reply appreciated. Cheers
The Jujutsu-ka isn't pulling punches or playing around. His techniques were solid, he looked pretty fast and he seemed to slam real hard. Gotta love how the Aikidoka gave him the bird at the end.
Aikidoka: "Ah! Ah! Ah!" Judoka: "Oh, you alright..." Get throw by reversal Judoka: "Ah s**t!" Aikidoka: "Ha ha ha." No Openings Anyway, great techniques, guys. I love these videos that show real training that's not just Hollywood garbage. Thanks.
i just want to say you guys fucking rock. i love true style jujutsu. now people think juijitsu is just ground work for fucking mma. its sad really. thank you guys for keeping what its about alive. plus your both good as fuck
I wish we did more throws in Aikido like these. They are defiantly my weak point. We rarely do them because falling safely from a throw takes a level of Ukemi that most beginners don't have...
yo this is one of the best frekin vids out their you guys did a great job!!! good job the both of you the guy in the jujitsu uniform was movin a little like bruce lee does great job though most people dont know the differnce between brazilian jujitsu and the original japanese version all they know is brazilian because uts on UFC n all that stuff but like all your techniques guys great fuckin job!!! thumbs up =)
Amazing demo, you guys work very well with eachother. I also noticed there was some very cinimatic lighting a few times, 2:00 is a good one, as is 2:15.
It's interesting to see how Jiu-jitsu and akido works. I do judo and if judo was sort of mae from jiu-jitsu, then why aren't there some of those throws that were done in judo?! They look awesome and mega useful!!!! There definitely should be some more added! I might just take up jiu-jitsu just for the throws and maybe a little striking work. Arghhh I dunno, I'm just gonna learn every martial art there ever is!
Awesome performace :D I train Jujitsu for a year now and i'm an orange belt. These throws are really hard to master, the falling is pretty easy. Were all of the strikes from Jujitsu or did you use some from other arts? Bu the way i'm tired of Americans mixing up Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Japanese Jujitsu, finally some real martial artists. I like how Sankyo hurts like hell no matter where you are in the world :D ... Thumbs up guys and you got a follower :)
Your intro is amazing! very true. Also very good to see real martial artists practicing real self defense and real jujitsu.
wicked video lads, your having fun and enjoying your training and for me that's what its all about. I love my jujitsu and always have fun at the club that's why I keep going back. I've watched this 5 times and think I will end up watching it another 10! Thanks for sharing with us. Cheers. :)

I train in aikijutsu and thought this video was amazing! Watched it a couple times over
watching your video there are many techniques you're applying that are damn good. I honestly have watched it a few times and it is right on spot and I am finding things in your movements that I've overlooked or didn't realize was there..........thank you for that gentleman.
You guys are awesome ! I think the jujitsu guy was unnecessarily too brutal, but totally loved it ! more please :)
What a fun video to watch. You guys looked like you enjoyed doing it too. I love the opening message. Thanks for sharing this video
Beautiful and enchanting setting ...almost makes me want to dust my old suit off.
You guys are great partners, you have both fun while training but also learn a lot from it, I must say both practitioners were great ukemi and tori.
As a wing chun player myself it's nice to see martial artist who have real " Kung Fu " in martial arts. I have watched video about ten times gives cool ideas on how to create new combinations.
PLEASE put up more material. I practice traditional jiujitsu and this is the best I have seen, beautiful.
punches and kicks are all part of traditional Japanese Ju Jitsu (which is much older than Jeet Kune Do btw). JJJ is a very well-rounded art.
Jujitsu will always reign supreme.....I am a yellow belt in the Jukido Jujitsu system.
Very nice guys! Dynamic and solid technique!
I love japanese martial arts, the best of the best
Love this vid, excellent skills, some very practical and having a laugh while doing it, great work!
Hey Michael great work, My uncle pulled these techniques on me yesterday ha it was fun, cool video I give you 4 star!
Wow!!! Beautiful techniques.
Love it......keep up the good work.
Awesome guys! Good moves, true look at a bit of jkd, jujitsu, and good aikido for that matter!
Awesome. Yh I have been training 4 years now. Will be taking my shodan grading in a few weeks. Can't wait

Fluid and powerfull just like water. :)Awesome vid. Thumbs up!
Flawless seoi-nage's hahaha, and a great demo of hi you kataha jime. seeing this i kinda want to see a video with uchi mata and yama arashi. It would be sick to see you two throw them with your talent. plus that guy has some nasty ukemi!

Nice work guys really enjoyed watching this :)

I loved the whole vid, but especially 2:58-3:03 hahaha. Good stuff.
Hi, this was awesome, I have a little jujitsu training and am inspired by what is possible with enough experience and technique you demonstrated.
Keep up the good work,
Remus
very nice and masterful demonstration, where is this dojo?
It would be cool if you made a video that showed off a little more aikido, great video btw
if you hear carefully the fight got it's own rythm like a battery solo, beautiful!
I love you're intro, especially the part about public schooling. :)
i see a lot of wing chun style strikes with the Jujitsu dude. =D very cool.
This was so cool.

I like it, well done

@aaronkeeble18 hey man awesome let me know how that goes. Im very excited for you i would like to see some aikijujitsu!
Mesmerizing. :D
By the ranting introduction (kinda self-defeating) I take it you guys don't compete.
Nice choreography though, fast and smooth.
@goldenking2287 thanks its hard finding cool people! most people hate.
