If you wait for longer, holding the M button just lets prompts you to reset the trip-meter data 3) Once you power up and hit the M button (quickly), scroll down to get into “Advanced”. Along the way, you’ll see an option to require or not require passwords for a) firing up the scooter and b) getting into advanced settings. These will both default to off. If you have both passwords off and try to enter “advanced settings” it just loops you into entering a password “0000” and back to the same place. You can never get in. 4) If you turn on the password for advanced settings, now you can get into advanced settings, BUT, next time you turn on the scooter, you’ll find that the scooter wants a password just to power up, even though that password is turned off. 5) If you set it so it requires a password for powering up, and disable the password for getting into advanced settings, it’s still going to ask you for a password for both things. But you will still be able to get into advanced settings. 6) So if you want to adjust your advanced settings but not enter a password at power-up. You’re going to need to make the password required (either one, doesn’t matter), make your adjustments, and then go back and make the password not required. Nice review. You forgot to mention one of the most important things. Kaabo did not make any updates on the suspension. Front is still spring loaded. And the back still uses the worst suspension on the market (PU rods). For a newly released/updated premium scooter in 2022 hydraulic and adjustable suspension is a must.
Thanks for commenting Scooterfrik! Have you ridden a Wolf Warrior X? The suspension is among my favorites in the light heavyweight class. The back is a combination of springs and bushings. I'd put it ahead of 80% of the scooters in it's class. (ahead of the Vsett 10+ for sure!) As much as I love them, adjustable hydraulics are unfortunately still super rare. The Mantis King GT is the only one near this price point that we've tested which has adjustable hydraulics. -Paul

Great review as always ESG. There is no excuse at this price point for the controller/display not having setting memory and the dead space in the throttle. This should be well sorted by now. I'll stick with my WolfX+.
Absolutely love it. The display, thumb throttle & extra range are all excellent upgrades. The speed, torque, battery & regen aren't bad either. So many positive things to highlight about this scooter 👍 That being said, I still think I'm gonna make the base model X my next purchase. I like it's weight/size to performance ratio & I think that's what has me sold. I also feel like the range on the base X is enough for my needs, (although the idea of a small road trip on a scooter is pretty tempting 😏, the price on the base keeps calling me back). My current scooter gets around 30-35 miles of range & I've never run the charge completely down, even on the busiest of days. My commute to work is short & everything else I need is close to home. Speed, torque & dual motor power (for navigating traffic on hills & bridges), while keeping some reasonable amount of portability, are most important on my checklist when choosing a scooter. Great video as always guys, thanks!

Waiting for something in this class of scooter to use tubeless tires, twist throttle preferred but thumb throttle is acceptable, regen brake control, an app, and to remember my settings each ride to replace my current scooter.
The display is very refreshing to see especially since finger throttle displays are getting dated quick. But, I’m very confused at how this new display can’t remember the speed / motor mode while the old finger throttles could remember perfectly. Even the cheapest bootleg ey3 displays could remember the settings 🤦♂️ I hope kaabo finds a way to fix this it’s just a really inconvenient thing to have and could’ve been avoided easy
William! Thanks for checking in. We have a sick video for you coming later this quarter. A rider guide for the true pros who own scooters like the wolf warrior x gt. -- Chase
Wait if the handlebars swivel when brought down how does one carry this thing? It sounds so difficult instead of having it lock down so you can hold from the stem
Yeah, it's actually easier to carry if you don't fold the bars. I'd only fold to put it into a trunk and even then it's a squeeze. For portability, the Mantis definitely wins, but the X GT still a lot more manageable than the big 11" tire Wolf Warrior scooters. -Paul

Gimme a break, I Just woke up and its 5 am. AND a spider bit me. It was a random WOLF Spider!!!!!!!!! lolol
Thank you, this is important feedback! Do you think it's because it looks like our older thumbs? Or is it because the difference in the scooter name (only adding a GT) is so small? -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide I'm not exactly sure what made me think that. You might be right, it could have been that maybe a previous thumbnail might have looked similar. Also I'm still new to your channel and I'm also new to the scooter world. I think it has a little bit to do with my newness. Also, I think it has something to do with me not being able to differentiate between the scooters and the scooter names because, like I said, I'm still new to all the names and stuff. Never since I watched your first video, I've been hooked and I've tried to figure out what the heck I can do to come up with $3,500 to get one. And I've been going back and forth about what one to get because I live sort of out in the country and I need one that goes 50 miles an hour plus the most range. So, in essence I think I was looking for the best bang for the buck.
I got my WW X GT from Voro motors as an open box return. It didn't come with an owners manual. I can't find any info on the regen braking. You said it can be turned up or down, but not off. How can the regen be adjusted? I can't find it in the advanced settings, or at least I don't recognize it when I see it. Many thanks!
Great video! I bought this scooter a few months ago, and while I haven't done a full straight range test yet, over a few days on one charge I was only able to get about 22mi of range. Did you guys do gear 5 dual motors the whole test, or did you take it a bit easier? I have a longer commute starting soon, and 22mi would just barely work for me haha.
My average throughout my entire ride comes out to like 18mph including stops I think? If we're talking about just straight riding, probably mid-to-high 30's.@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
Ahh, that'd be why. I have a lot of stops, my moving average is definitely in the high/mid 30's despite my total average being 18. Thank you for the info! :)@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
Many ways to do that! Just buy after market accessory Personally I feel thumb throttles are MUCH better but each person has their preference because it can create confusion in a panic moment when hitting the front brake near the same area
@@mutatedAi I HATE this particular thumb throttle. Doesn’t feel natural. The vertical sliding of thumb throttle on a ninebot is fantastic. I would love that to be on this wolf x gt
Hi Chris, I had a look just now and the throttle is plug-and-play, which is to sat that you can at least disconnect the throttle from the scooter easily. Whether there is another one that will plug right in and work... I'd love to know! -Paul
Haven’t heard of that one. Thanks for suggesting it. We listen to every request and it helps us decide what to review. We don’t have that one in the forecast, but every comment we see helps get it there! -Paul
I’m just wandering if this upgrade is worth $600 in comparison to the Base model. Looking at pricing now it’s $400 away from the Nami E 2. The nami having a much better design, 40 more miles seems like a no brainer and let’s not forget the superior ride quality. I’m torn. I could use some help😅
So i need help deciding what to pick, between wolf warrior x gt or vsett 10+,im not crazy driver, just chill casual driving,i live on 4th floor no elewaitor aswell, but i like the look and display of wofl especially dual stam, but for vsett i keep hearing its the best scooter outhere...so what do u sudgest
My thoughts im strongly start think about electric bysicles. Cuz last week made flat tyre and was needed to use my bysicle and found out im get very weak. so electric bysicle hybrid is hybrid to achieve some sport and distance.
Is it okay for me to sit it at absolute top speed for 20+ minutes ? Or is that bad / not possible . Also how fast would the range run out ? I need to do a 30km ride … want something fit for the job . Thanks for the reviews guys
i have a question. my gf and i are looking to get scooters or possibly and e bike. what scooter would you recommend for first time riders, we skateboard and roller blade and stuff so we are experienced with speed and control and whatnot, but we also don’t want to spend as much as a used car on a scooter. what would be the best scooter on the market for say up to 30 miles battery range and at least 30 mph, with good motor??
That's a good question. It's rated IPX5, but it's always important to keep in mind that the manufacturers don't cover water damage under warranty. So it's a ride at your own risk situation. If I owned one, I'd try a mildly rainy ride, then open the deck immediately after and see how things look. Then seal as needed. It sucks to have to do your own water-proofing and double check how real the IP ratings are, but that's where we are with scooters in 2022. Way back when, the Boosted Rev seemed to be really going motorcycle-grade in a hurry. Things are getting better quickly, but I wish we could fast forward to where all scooters can be ridden in a deluge without a second thought. -Paul
Good question! It's been ages since we've tested the original Qiewa Q-power (we have one here), so I'm not sure our comparison would be accurate. I'm not a huge fan of the stem-latch style that the Q-power 2 uses. It's very similar to the one the Yume scooters use, and I feel like I can never get our Yume tight enough to not wobble front to back. We should try to get our hands on a late model Qiewa though to be sure. -Paul
From the spec sheets it seems like Qiewa blows a lot of the other monster scooters out of the water especially by price and weight capacity. I'm particularly interested in the power rating of the motors. It seems like some brands only tell you peak and not actual rating.
The numbers they claim for the motors unfortunately mean very little. At most, they'll tell you what power the motors are rated to accept, but not how much power they are fed by the controllers. The number I'll use for estimating how quick a scooter might be, is to take the motor controller amps and multiply by the battery volts, in this case 2 30A controllers x 60V = 3,600W that the controllers can feed to the motors at a nominal state of charge. -Paul
Its looking good. I might just get one if the price is right. The slower scooters are boring the hell out of me. Also 100+ lbs scooter aint gonna do. Most people that use scooters dont have bigass garages houses and most likely have to climb stairs.
Depending on how many stairs, you might go Mantis King GT. It's basically just as fast, but a fair amount lighter. I could huff the WW XGT up about one flight of stairs, but I'd want someone else to get the door. The Mantis I could do a couple flights of stairs. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Thank you! I definitely appreciate your insight here! I keeping coming back to watch these cause I want to make sure when I can make the call to get one of these, it's the right call 😁
Hi Mike, The diplay has no port on it, but the controll buttons at your left thumb have a standard USB port. I tried connecting my phone to it just now (iPhone 11 Pro) and no charging occurred. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide man that's a bummer, but not a deal breaker. I'm still very eager to get this scooter. Thanks for checking Paul you're the man. 👍
Damn these scooters are nice I'm planning on buying The Nami Burn E but then again this is nice scooter I'm seeing I don't know what type of scooter do you recommend I get for next year?🤔🤔I want the best I want to spend near almost 4 grand that's the highest I would go
The BURN-E is another level, but it's also another level when it comes to the size and weight of the scooter. Once you cross into 100+ lb scooters, they start feeling a bit more like motorcycles, in that you really have to think about whether you want to pick them up or not. The WW X GT, even at 86 lbs, is something I can pick up and put on a milk-crate to work on without really thinking about getting hurt. But scooters like the NAMI, and full sized Wolf Warriors like the Wolf King GT you have to pay attention or they're hurt you when you're picking them up and putting them down. In fact, it's just better to team lift the 100+ pound scooters if you can. -Paul
Honest, no-BS take (we try to do that here): We like the GT a lot more. And if you're going for cheaper, would still choose base model WWX. That said, the Eagle One is an excellent scooter in the category and we've seen many love theirs. Overall, they haven't seemed to be on kaabo's level, but every scooter is right for the right person--something we really strain to capture with each content piece: who is this for? - Chase
For cars GT stands for Grand Touring, which means it's good for long fast drives. Over the years it's come to also mean luxurious. To me Aston Martins are the ultimate GT's. -Paul
It's so close. Mantis King GT clocked 45.0 mph and Wolf Warrior X went 45.3 mph We do a two direction run 1/2 a mile long on flat ground and then average the highest sustained speeds from each direction. (basically trying to duplicate how the land speed record folks do it). -Paul
Because I’m going to pick 1 of them on Saturday in the NY local just not sure which 1 I would like the most also is it possible I can switch tires to pmt wheels
has a wolf warrior Xpro. The side stand was a joke. And the IPX rating is hopeful rather than factual. Blew to controllers riding on damp roads . The build quality is also shoddy with many loose screws and fragile mounts. Will never buy another kaabo. Just buy a nami.
I jammed a very liberal amount of silicone in, on, around & all over every possible moisture entry point on mine. Got that joker sealed up tighter than a Covid ward, but I still don't feel comfortable riding on wet roads. I'll do damp, but it has to be on the dryer side of damp, like 45min to an hour after a rain (depending on how much sun &/or wind is present that day) Anything wetter just spooks me out of riding all together. And I still avoid those puddles like the police!!!
i’m sorry but for $2000 the wiring should not be getting PINCHED in the frame. for that amount of money and the props that this company gets is absolutely bad
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide hi Paul. Motor would cut out after 15 minutes of travel (smooth pavement, no incline), display would show increase in speed while the scooter was being pushed backward displaying more than 11 mph, this was after the third display replacement and after the second time being returned for service from an authorized shop. Also the scooter had less than 40 miles when purchased. Just a few answers to your question.
Even the cheapest bootleg ey3 displays could remember the settings 🤦♂️
I hope kaabo finds a way to fix this it’s just a really inconvenient thing to have and could’ve been avoided easy
Yes hopefully that can be addressed soon. Thanks for watching. -Vosk
I would pick the x gt over the mantis king gt , only because I prefer riding at high speeds full throttle .
Very cool! Thanks for sharing. -Vosk
Love your reviews. When will you review the P100S?
Should be in the future! Nothing planned.
-Vosk
Will you ever review the Blade Gt? 52mph 60v 28ah battery with adjustable suspensions like the Mantis Gt only for 2300$ with a one year warranty
We are trying our very best to obtain you to review! Thanks for the suggestion.
-Vosk
Great video! Should I go for this or Apollo Phantom v3?
Can’t go wrong with either to be honest! Phantom has a better suspension.
Kaabo Wolf Warrior X or Solar FF lite ? Trying to decide on these.
Always good to see Pauly tearing up the streets 😛
Thanks William! Always nice to see you in the comments! -Paul
William! Thanks for checking in. We have a sick video for you coming later this quarter. A rider guide for the true pros who own scooters like the wolf warrior x gt. -- Chase
Thanks for the great video. I just got this exact model a few days ago. Do you know of anyone that makes a steering damper for it?
Off hand, I don't know of one that's made specifically to fit the X. -Paul
-Paul
Kaabo doing good things this year
Yea for sure! Many big things. -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
Your also doing great.
Best one regarding scooters actually.
10:48 it is hilarious. If portability is a concern, is mantis v2 a better option?
Both are excellent options! Mantis has better suspension
Brilliant video 😎
Can the x-Pro be converted to thumb throttle?
With the right electrician for sure! -Vosk
Great review!
Glad you enjoyed it
I don't know why I thought this video was old. Kept looking at the views , and thought...why the heck does this video only have 2k views for? lol. Theeeeeen I realized you just uploaded it. lololol.
Thanks for the detailed reply! -Paul
Please email them and they will send you a PDF file of a manual. -Vosk
What is your average mph ?
My average throughout my entire ride comes out to like 18mph including stops I think? If we're talking about just straight riding, probably mid-to-high 30's.@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
@@Reditold
Weird, we averaged 18.8 mph with top speeds close to 30mph and got 44.2 miles. Ours has the big 28ah (1680Wh) battery. -Paul
Ahh, that'd be why. I have a lot of stops, my moving average is definitely in the high/mid 30's despite my total average being 18. Thank you for the info! :)@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
I gotta admit. I’m a bit of a thing with the horn. It’s automotive loud and makes girls scream
You could have a TH-cam channel with people screaming because of the horn
Like a train horn prank
with a scooter 🤔😂
Any way to switch out that thumb throttle for a trigger throttle ?
Many ways to do that! Just buy after market accessory
Personally I feel thumb throttles are MUCH better but each person has their preference because it can create confusion in a panic moment when hitting the front brake near the same area
A good mechanic can easily do it! -Vosk
-Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Paul you’re the best. Thank you man. Love how you’ve stepped up and become the face of the channel. Quality reviews 🤌🏻
Did they just put the better battery and display in the base model?
Many upgrades! -Vosk
Could you please review this Escooter, please? ICE Q5 evolution max.
We would choose the Nami! -Vosk
Check out the mantis gt! Also excellent th-cam.com/video/JV6GaRv8IIY/w-d-xo.html
My thoughts im strongly start think about electric bysicles. Cuz last week made flat tyre and was needed to use my bysicle and found out im get very weak. so electric bysicle hybrid is hybrid to achieve some sport and distance.
Cool! Thanks for sharing.-Vosk
Excellent review as usual
Thanks so much for the kind words! -Vosk
Is it okay for me to sit it at absolute top speed for 20+ minutes ? Or is that bad / not possible . Also how fast would the range run out ? I need to do a 30km ride … want something fit for the job . Thanks for the reviews guys
Depends on rider weight and conditions!
Are you guys ever going to review the bronco 11 xtreme?
We would love to but trying to obtain one! -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Hopefully you guys can get your hands one one, its great scooter.
i have a question. my gf and i are looking to get scooters or possibly and e bike. what scooter would you recommend for first time riders, we skateboard and roller blade and stuff so we are experienced with speed and control and whatnot, but we also don’t want to spend as much as a used car on a scooter. what would be the best scooter on the market for say up to 30 miles battery range and at least 30 mph, with good motor??
What is your budget ?
How does this model work with rain/moist?
-Paul
How does this compare to the Qiewa Qpower2?
-Paul
Awesome video!!!
Thanks for the very kind words! -Vosk
What is taking you guys so long to put out a review of the Segway P100S and P65?
They have not sent us that scooter yet to review! Thanks for asking. -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide i figured you guys would have placed at least 1 order on the kickstarter campaign.
Are the handlebars higher on the x GT than the wolf king base model?
Slightly!
-Paul
Lovely breakdown!
Would you buy this over the Mantis GT?
They are both great but I would get the mantis GT to be honest. -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Thank you!
I definitely appreciate your insight here!
I keeping coming back to watch these cause I want to make sure when I can make the call to get one of these, it's the right call 😁
Does the TFT display have USBC charging?
Not sure! We will take a look!
-Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide I mean the weight doesn't matter to me I just want something fast and something that has long range
How would you compare this to the cheaper varla eagle one
Honest, no-BS take (we try to do that here): We like the GT a lot more. And if you're going for cheaper, would still choose base model WWX. That said, the Eagle One is an excellent scooter in the category and we've seen many love theirs. Overall, they haven't seemed to be on kaabo's level, but every scooter is right for the right person--something we really strain to capture with each content piece: who is this for? - Chase
Amazing ❤
Thanks JM! -Paul
does gt mean something ? i see it on all the top tier scooters. the wolf king GT, mantis kind GT, segway GT 1 & 2. i never understood it
It’s just a name! Nothing behind it - Vosk
For cars GT stands for Grand Touring, which means it's good for long fast drives. Over the years it's come to also mean luxurious. To me Aston Martins are the ultimate GT's. -Paul
I have one NanRobot D6+ 2.0

How tall is the stem
We measured it at 39 inches from deck to handlebars. We always measure to the middle of the handlebar. -Paul

Mantis king gt or wolf warrior x gt on top speed
It's so close. Mantis King GT clocked 45.0 mph and Wolf Warrior X went 45.3 mph
We do a two direction run 1/2 a mile long on flat ground and then average the highest sustained speeds from each direction. (basically trying to duplicate how the land speed record folks do it). -Paul

has a wolf warrior Xpro.
The side stand was a joke. And the IPX rating is hopeful rather than factual. Blew to controllers riding on damp roads .
The build quality is also shoddy with many loose screws and fragile mounts.
Will never buy another kaabo.
Just buy a nami.
Insightful! Thanks for sharing. -Vosk
And I still avoid those puddles like the police!!!
looks like its time to change my emove cruiser

The original wolf x was garbage. Electrical issues galore. It's a shame. Wasted money. Hopefully, this isn't another cash grab.
Do you have an original Wolf Warrior X? What sort of issues did you have and if so how was Kaabo about taking care of you? -Paul
Also so you know I'm not a novice, I also have the gotrax, the S2, the 2d gen emove cruiser and the wolf warrior 11. More than 9000 miles under my belt. 4500 alone on the warrior. I ride all conditions in a large metropolitan area. It's unfortunate about the x. I thought it would have been a nice addition to the Kaboo family. Don't even get me started with the wolf stem wobble because of the type of screws they used. You know the 3 I'm talking about. Yup, that's how you know I'm not just commenting and not knowing what I'm commenting about. I enjoy your and everyone else's reviews. Keep up the great work! Ride safe!
I've owned it for about a month now I haven't come across any problems except for one of the kick stand screw after off roading for a bit will get loose but a little loctite will fix that so far i put about 120 miles on it mostly off road also it doesn't bottom out when going over curbs im about 195lbs you can also adjust the acceleration on advanced settings which is really helpful for beginners
My wolf warrior 11 plus, goes 65 70 miles before it dies, and goes 55 miles a hour so idk how 43 miles is nice lol idk
