One day I will be able to sail to new locations. Obsessed with sailing right now. Also those seals are so cute!! I always get emotional when I see those little fellas....too cute and such sweet animals.
Hi Elizabeth - we totally understand you speaking of an obsession to sailing - we really know what you are saying there :) The seals are cute but after a while they really do mess up the boat - we had to try and convince them the bottom step was the best part of being on the boat and not the cockpit :) Thanks for the comment here and we really hope to see you sailing new locations soon Brent and Ana

Thanks Geoff - the place is in a semi remote area of the Western Cape of South Africa. It was built by a relative of mine and I actually 'divined' the water for the place when he bought it. People often do not believe that I can find water using a branch from a willow tree or as in with this place a bottle of water on the palm of my hand. Yet, he drilled where I showed him to and bingo - lots of water :D It was so nice to see the place after all these years again ... McGregor ... a place called Lords Guest House

Hi carmas54 - yes indeed - a place called Lords in McGregor - Western Cape. It was built by a 'relative' many years ago and is special for me since I divined the water for it as a youngster using a filled bottle of water in the palm of my hand. There I was walking through he scrub for hours until the bottle toppled - told him to drill right there and - bingo - a full flow stream of water in an otherwise very dry region :)
wow, I grew up with a lot of missionary kids born there and their loves for Africa (the southern region) was all they ever talked about my best friend was from Rhodesia ...sadly he died before I could ever get there with him. enjoy your time there with family

Hey man - diabetes took care of the weight :) ... I was a large lad when I left SA and now Ana feeds me spinach and fish. She thought she could convert me into her personal POPEYE but Im afraid the wrinkles are getting the better of me :) For the record - I left South Africa at 120 KG's - went up to 130 KG's at one stage and now down to 94 kg's ... healthy living and eating the correct foods and portions. We can sell you the recipe - wondering how much you need to loose but then again - your YT name - mindyourownbusiness s probably foremost in your mind - LOL ... cheers my friend

LOL - thanks Ian. We actually smiled at your comment - we had so many amazing Australians visiting our boat when we were there and in the end those very Australians were trying to get the word out to others to let us have 'space' - lol! We really enjoy the folks from Downunder - some great friendships forged there for sure :)

Hi carmas54 - yes indeed - a place called Lords in McGregor - Western Cape. It was built by a 'relative' many years ago and is special for me since I divined the water for it as a youngster using a filled bottle of water in the palm of my hand. There I was walking through he scrub for hours until the bottle toppled - told him to drill right there and - bingo - a full flow stream of water in an otherwise very dry region :)
wow, I grew up with a lot of missionary kids born there and their loves for Africa (the southern region) was all they ever talked about my best friend was from Rhodesia ...sadly he died before I could ever get there with him. enjoy your time there with family

Hi Ed and Thank You! We used to be in the earthmoving and mining business. That was an up, down business but over all it treated us well. Eventually I felt there was too much politics in doing business in South Africa so decided to sail instead :)

Hey man - diabetes took care of the weight :) ... I was a large lad when I left SA and now Ana feeds me spinach and fish. She thought she could convert me into her personal POPEYE but Im afraid the wrinkles are getting the better of me :)
For the record - I left South Africa at 120 KG's - went up to 130 KG's at one stage and now down to 94 kg's ... healthy living and eating the correct foods and portions. We can sell you the recipe - wondering how much you need to loose but then again - your YT name - mindyourownbusiness s probably foremost in your mind - LOL ... cheers my friend
