- The Ezekiel 38 invasion will be a major event of history, resulting in one of the greatest ever Divine Interventions, catalysing a world-wide revival. One thing few realise is that it is an invasion of the Mountains of Israel (West Bank), not Israel proper. Understanding this explains a number of things.

Question, sir: If the Rapture comes before the war, how will the Church of Christ preach His Truth to the world in a great revival?
I was wondering that too, except he mentioned the Lord intervening will be "obvious" and also, the Rapture itself will convince all that were sitting on the fence that... There is a God and it is Jesus they need to turn to. Just my opinion.

Which Nation replaced Israel?
Question: if the West Bank is largely 'Palastinian', and recognized as such internationally, why would the Muslim nations and Russia invade / attack it? Would they invade to chase out the Jews, then aim to head into Israel Proper?

Great description of 'The unwalled villages,' Derek. Tell me. do you think the massive earthquake that will 'bring down every wall' will reduce the dome of the rock to rubble and pave the way for the third Temple?

I believe the Temple location is further south of the Temple Mount in the City of David. By the springs..
@@Yari6string Ezekiel 43:12 shows that God wants His Temple to be built 'On top of the mountain.' That can only mean Mount Moria, where the two previous Temples were built which is where the dome of the rock now stands. It has to go.

I'm confused. In one place the Bible says to grab your children and flee the city into the mountains. In this segment you are saying the people of the mountains must come back down into the city Behind the Walls. Am I getting the sections of the Bible mixed up?
yes - in Ezekiel (which is at least 7 years before the end) the people of the mountains (judea samaria) flee to israel proper, but at Mid Tribulation (3.5 years before the end) when antichrist invades (matt 24:15-21) these people are told to flee to the mountains of Jordan (see rev 12 also)

It all makes sense but where does the cataclysmic events fit in between all of the fighting and battles described here such as an asteroid hiting and causing all kinds of devastation. And surely only after all this has happenend does Christ return.?

These imporant verses in Ezekiel 38 are not in existance today:
"You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’- to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land."

I see Psalm 83 as largely fulfilled in events since 1948 - it does not necessarily describe a single battle. I deal with the verses you quote somewhere in this series and in my book of the same name.

Ezekiel39:6 mentions sending fire on the coastlands which I'm assuming means Israel coastlands. Can you explain how this fits what you said about them being uneffected because. is all happening in the mountains?
no it does not mean israel - the context is the lands on the invading armies 'Magog'. Coastlands also translates as islands. it means as well as the invading armies being judged -their homelands will be judged also.

I have looked over EZ 38/39 and have really appreciated your input and clarification for myself. However, one thing no discussed so far is the 7 years Israel has to burn the weapons from this war. My question is where do the Israelis get 7 years to do this since the last 3 1/2 of the tribulation have the Israelis hiding from the Antichrist. I would seem to me the rapture would have to be before this war by as much as 3 1/2 years to give time to burn these weapons.
good point - especially when Jesus said let those in Judea flee from the antichrist at mid-trib - the very area 9the mountains of israel) where these abandoned weapons would be. That is why i believe it is probably before the rapture. However in my Commentary on Revelation available on Amazon i explain why there might be a gap of months even years between the Rapture and the start of the 70th Week (that is the 70th week is the last 7 years of the Tribulation, but not necessarily the whole of it).
Gog is a title of a person I'm not sure that Russia is Magog as Russia is currently very Orthodox Tarshish is Turkey St Paul was born there.

I never considered this conflict being over the disputed territories, because American non-intervention didn't make sense. But if it was over these territories, it makes sense as to why America would not be involved
And how do you propose the Gog Magog alliance achieves this invasion of the West Bank without (a) going through Jordan first and (b) going through an inconvenient Israeli military zone in the Jordan valley.

And if they have to go through Jordan, without or without the connivance of the Jordanian government, then why is Moab nowhere mentioned in Eze 38?
Mr. Walker, your making a lot of assumptions here. You could be very well right though.
Yes. God used the name of weapons known to the people of the time, and those in their similar future. God wrote the Bible in such a way that it's understandable and viable to those thousands of years ago, as well as those hundreds (should the Lord tarry...) of years from now.
I don't understand how many of prophecy preachers make it sound like the battle of armageddon is just around the corner when Rev 20 clearly states it isn't for a thousand years.

it does not say 'at peace' but dwelling securely - the hebrew word means they are secure because of strong defenses

No - the prophecies of Israel's regathering in the last days are in 2 phases. An initial partial regathering in unbelief and with trouble before Christ's Return (which has been fulfilled) and a final full regathering in faith by Christ at His Return, after which Israel will possess her land in peace for 1000 years. You can see these 2 stages in Ezekiel 37. Ezekiel 38 is set in the time between these 2 regatherings. Jeremiah 30:3 has been fulfilled but then (v4ff) go onto describe the Tribulation (the time of Jacob's Trouble v7) by the end of which Israel will be saved (v7)
Yes, read Zechariya 13 and 14, this explicitly details a return to a mass of unbelieving Jews. For it is written, "they will look upon him whom they pierced, and will mourn of their sins." Him whom they pierced are Joseph's brothers, the tribes of Israel

I thought that as well but it appears to be two separate events. In Revelation 20 only fire is mentioned. The Israelis do not go out and bury the dead bc all of Gog and Magogs hordes are completely consumed. There are no hailstones or any other form of destruction- just the consuming fire of God. It makes sense because in Revelation 20 mankind has been living under God Himself for 1000 years and still rebels. There is no more room for mercy. This is the final act of rebellion of mankind and then the age of man is complete. In Ezekiel 38-39 the Israelis bury the dead and it becomes a testimony to Israel and other nations that their is a true God in Israel. Indicating further mercy and time for mankind. In Revelation 20 Israel has already received their Messiah and have been living in His earthly kingdom for nearly 1000 years. They don’t need confirmation of God at this point because they’ve already looked upon Him whom they pierced and received Him as Messiah, Lord , and God. In Revelation 20 this rebellion is immediately followed by the great judgement of all souls. And then the eternal kingdom.

Any explanation of Bible prophecy that teaches that God elevates one race or nation over another is not biblical. It is false and it misrepresents God.
In the past God acted to defend the family line through which the Messiah would come from being contaminated or destroyed by enemy nations who Satan inspired inorder to try to thwart God's purpose to bring about a Messiah to redeem the whole of mankind By means of the Messiah, in future all nations of the earth ( Not just Israel) will bless themselves.

The king of the North isn't Turkey! They are in no place to start a war with Isreal. If anything they would be defeated in the psalm 83 war. The arabs have always turned to russia like egypt, iraq and iran for help, not turkey. Turkey has neither the army, navy or airforce to even attempt any offensive against isreal. But lets see what happens; surely both psalm 83 and ezekiel 38 cant be that far off considering what is happening in the middle east and the UN.

Russia is not in this prophecy...at least not in these verses. Also, where does the Bible say the seat of Satan is?
If one has the time, do a search on TH-cam about the meaning of Rosh and how some interpretations have these verses wrong.

Who is "Israel"? Are we to assume that literally anyone who takes up the name Israel is truly and genuinely the Israel in bible prophecy? This is the most critical factor to understanding this prophecy and who the antagonists of the war of armageddon are.
The term "Israel" refers to Gods true worshippers on earth and certainly not the nation state in the middle east that goes by the name Israel. God will intervene to defend his true worshippers when devil inspired attacks are waged against them by a coalition of nations ( Gog of Magog) with the aim of wiping them out of the face of the earth. They are not armed or organised as a state and rely entirely on God to defend them just as much as the True disciples of christ in the first century were not organised as a nation state but were made up of congregations of worshippers organised under a gorvening body made up of the apostles and the older men in Jerusalem.
Satan God's enemy hates Gods worshippers and their activity which involves bearing witness to God and Jesus and proclaiming the coming of Gods kingdom on earth. THE war is targeted at true worship and is not about land or boundary disputes which have nothing to do with true worship. The true God does not elevate any nation above another. Acts 10 verse 34 a d 35 read "At this Peter began to speak, and he said: “Now I truly understand that God is not partial, 35 but in every nation the man who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him"
The Israel mentioned in the end time prophecy is the "israel of God' of Galatians 6 verse 16 which reads "As for all those who walk orderly by this rule of conduct, peace and mercy be upon them, yes, upon the Israel of God.
the term Israel of God in the last days is associated with the remnants of anointed christians along with their faithful companions who number into millions in many countries around the earth. They come from many diverse languages and nationalities but are united in worship of the true God.
Israel is consistently the sons of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the Bible - we have no right to redefine the meaning of Israel to suit our theology.

@@anthonyk9692 Jesus I will build my Church - the Church is a new thing made of Jews and Gentiles which represents God in this age, but that does not mean God has finished with Israel, as Romans 11 shows. The Kingdom promised to Israel was postponed because of her unbelief (just like her entry to the promised land) but it will happen when Jesus returns.

Please read Mathew 3 verse 9 and 10
"Do not presume to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children for Abraham from these stones. 10 The ax is already lying at the root of the trees. Every tree, then, that does not produce fine fruit is to be cut down and thrown into the fire". .
God retains the right raise children for Abraham in the manner he choses.
Gods right on this matter is unquestionable but the Jews of Jesus day had an entitlement mentality even when they showed up disobedient. They were wrong. We should not imitate their wrong assmption.
