    Would you not leave the apron concrete until next year for a bit of better weather? It’s fair frustrating waiting for these kind of jobs to get finished, been in the same position myself a couple of times!! It will be a fine job when it’s finished. Are you rearing all calves or just the heifers?

      Thankfully we got all the concreting finished and all worked out great, we only rear the heifer calves, all else is sold straight away

    going by looking at the 6470 and how clean it is would you think of putting a loader on it. cant wait to see inside that machinery shed. we put up a shed last year and the man who put it up asked why us farmers always seem to want to put shed up in the backend of the year :):):)

      We started this shed in july because we had to wait quite a while on grant approval, got unexpected delays but all worked out we in the end. Ya i may sell the case and buy a 4355 or 4270 with a front loader so could hold on to the 6470 as she is in good ordered

      @@IFarmWeFarm 4355 or 4270 would be good for stacking bales with loader the 5455 I've heard mixed reports your more likely to get a bad one rather than a good one

    Would you go Massey or a different brand and will you trade in the 6470. You should do a live stream for 1k subs. We have a McConnell 2006 hedge trimmer and it gave no bother since we got it a few years ago. What brand hedge trimmer will you go for ?

    • @IFarmWeFarm
      @IFarmWeFarm  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agri spec Lad probably McConnell, I’m pretty familiar with them, looking at other brands of tractors at the minute but would be hard to leave Massey as we’ve always ran them.

      @@IFarmWeFarm masseys are ok but I'd say new holland or claas are nearly better much more comfortable and are normally quite cheap. The farmer that I work for has a claas arion 430 and shes very comfy plenty of power for the 1600 gallon tanker he has and brakes are very good as the tanker has no brakes but the claas would stop dead while going down a hill(normal brakes not air)and you wouldnt even notice the 4wd being engaged when you press the brakes it's that smooth, most dont have add blue which is a major plus aswell. They are very good with front loaders as well as the gear system is (generally a 16x16 powershift) is built into the loader joystick, they will handle a bale on the front no bother no weight needed on the back so very handy for feeding, very good turning radius too would be around 35k (no bother to ye milking fellas 😂) for a low houred one but it's worth it I'd say. New holland are pretty much the same as the claas witha few slight differences
