Great question! I’ll pin this comment so others can chime in 🙂 but from what I know: Gina Schick is a fantastic player who made top 12 in World Doubles with Darren Carr, and she’s consistently a top player (top end of B pool in singles at Belleville), who has the potential for a breakout performance this tour. Another name is Nikolett Huszárik who made top 4 in both singles and doubles at the Crokinole World Cup in Budapest- she’s currently 19th in the NCA standings and, depending on how many more tourneys are happening in Europe, could quite potentially hit the top 10 before the year is up!
I was at Worlds in 2023. In singles, I was doing quite well, having scored at least 2 points in all my matches and most at least 4 points. Then, in the last round, I came up against Arpad. He put every single disk exactly where he wanted it, and I couldn't do a damn thing! He gave me my only skunking of the tournament.
Nolan said a similar thing, I don’t know who won that but I heard from Nolan personally that Arpad is deadly on the board. Point being, the players out there are highly underrated, and I’d love to see a few of them come out this year to throw the gauntlet down 😄
Prediction from a Yank across the pond who has never played a single match: if Santa paid attention to my wishlist, there's about to be a whole lot of Crokinole happening at our house. Furthermore, I fully expect our average daily Moxy Früvous intake to skyrocket as well 🤞
Thanks guys! Are there any strong or up-and-coming women players? Perhaps just not at the top levels. A shout out to the ladies would be awesome!

Niki Huzarik (? sp) from Budapest Hungary is an excellent player.
Yours is a master class in building up a community. Thanks for sharing your love of the game, and thanks for the updates.
I am biased - being her Doubles Partner - but Niki Huszárik is the best women player I know of 😊
@@ShevatosCrokinoleFrom some videos I've seen ... forget being the best woman player, she's a good player amongst all the players, male or female.
Very informative and fun to watch.. thanks guys
Cheers, glad you enjoyed 😁
