And when you got out and let your van drive itself, my heart started racing. I could just imagine it picking up speed and taking off and leaving you stranded in the middle of the salt flat. I'll just get my fill of adventure vicariously through your posts.
Love to see this video!! Do you ever get paranoid that someone will come around your van when sleeping? Do you put a Do not disturb sign on the door? I know where your at now there is no one around. Just carry a urinal and pee in the van. Holding it can cause infection. Im a nurse so I wanted to tell you that. There is absolutely nothing wrong with making a toilet in the van. It's your health that matters the most.
I admire his conversion of the van, its my favorite of all I have seen, especially the bed. The only thing I would do different is to have a toilet inside to use when there is no public toilets around.

Have you thought about a small composting toilet for "emergencies"? I probably wouldn't want to use one all the time but I'd think it would probably come in handy for times when it's too cold or you just can't find a good spot to answer nature's call. Just a thought.
I really like your van design. Being able to go from driver’s seat to the living area without needing to exit the vehicle is fantastic for many reasons. What powers the heater running at night and while the engine is off?
As you shown the pictures on your Laptop...many of them that I love...the pictures shown you are one of the travelers loving of adventure and exploring...we are similar but you have a better opportunity on travelling...love your channel...💖
one of the few places you can clearly see the curvature of the earth! definitely check out more of nevada while you’re there. the sand dunes near fallon or any of the state parks in southern nevada are worth a visit. in the summer time, the ruby mountain wilderness in elko county is less touristy than tahoe and in my opinion a lot prettier

I took my van to Bonneville salt flats but it rained 2 days in a row and I couldn't drive on it. coolest spot to see. If your out that way again go check out Bryce canyon totally worth it
Love the van build. This is the first van which I have seen and thought it was practical for staying in for more than one night. I am liking the tale of one traveler much more than the previous. Just one thing that I would add to the build - a lapel mic. 😉 The constantly varying audio volume scares the hell out of my sleeping dog. Onward and upward.
Hi. I've read many stories of accelerated rust and lower body panel damage from the Sodium Chloride found on those Salt Flats. Did you do anything to protect your fabulous van from that potential? Thanks

...OK.. easy solution💩...go outside by rear back tire when in private area...use dog poop bag to pickup... double bag and disposal in garbage with ur other stuff. Beats digging holes. 5 gal bucket still has to be stored. Pee bottle easy solution for guys. After picking up 1000's of my dogs poop, this beat the gross outhouses
What happens with tax and staff and people travel like this because if you move through various states and don’t have a fixed home what happens? Can you just get away with everything and live nomadic
