@@marybethparr7805 Ah, yes. We lived in Orange County for a year to help my dad around the house and couldn't wait to get back to the Sierra! There are some pretty spots around there too, though! Enjoy your trip!
Just found you and really enjoyed your videos. Were waiting for our 4wc hawk and its been 6 mths and it will be nearly another year. Hope we enjoy it as much as you do
You mentioned in a video about what options you would have picked and we went for most of them as its our retirement present. The way you camp is more our pace. We won't be rock climbing or scuba diving i don't think. I like the kayak idea but haven't done it yet.
They’re all great, but this was one just after the first outhouse. We really love the very last site though. Great water access and it feels like you’re on a beach. Highly recommend!
We haven't done Kasier Pass, so can't speak to that, but has been this rough both times we've gone to Gold Lake. The first time we went, the guy in front of us ripped off his jack stands on a rock he got hung up on. I definitely wouldn't recommend leaving your jack stands on if you do this road.
Thanks so much! After this past weekend with the skottle, I asked myself why I waited so long. Definitely would recommend! The dishes we got off Amazon. They’re Wealers and overall are pretty happy with them. They are starting to get scratches though from knives, but nice and lightweight! www.amazon.com/dp/B07SG7464K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_8Y5E932MXRFN0MH53GX8
We do! We have a Wolfwise pop-up tent and use the Go Anywhere toilet. There is a shower on the side of the camper we can use with the Wolfwise tent, but after almost a year, we have yet to actually use the shower.
Cool campstove!
Thanks! We love it!
Wish lived closer to Sierras as long way from San Diego. Planning local camp trip next week.

I was there in 2019! One of my favorite campsites in Cali! I can’t wait to be back, hopefully next year!
Nice! Let us know. We’re only a couple of hours away!
Good one guys ….thanks . Like seeing that taco in action .
Thanks, Jason! Happy trails. 🍻
What a beautiful location! Love the journey out to your camp spot. Nothing like the stay warm camp dance. Great video and adventure.
Thank you! And totally agree, sometimes random dance parties in the woods are a total necessity. Ha!

Awesome video and a very cool drive there. The music should've been taken the slow and easy road . Lol
Thanks, Mark! Ha! Totally agree. Definitely slow and easy getting out there.

Thank you, Lorraine! That’s a long time to wait, but it will be well worth it. 😊 Can’t wait to see your rig.

What an awesome retirement present to yourselves! Congrats!
Hi! Do you know which campsite number this was or have a recommendation on the best ones? Thank you!

Is the road always this rough? Is it rougher that Kasier Pass to Vermillion Campground?

@@AdventureOutThere agree! I have a Scout and my happyjacks stay home.
We love the skottle .. so many overlanders have them .. it’s on our wish list.. your meals look delish.. where did you get your plates and pans?

Nice camping spot !! Do you have an outdoor shower? Toilet?
We do! We have a Wolfwise pop-up tent and use the Go Anywhere toilet. There is a shower on the side of the camper we can use with the Wolfwise tent, but after almost a year, we have yet to actually use the shower.
We have more about our toilet in this video: m.th-cam.com/video/X9tiwSfZSR0/w-d-xo.html
