    This form of content and your message just resonates so well with me.     I really appreciate your short’s in particular, I’ve ditched my old workout program and have formulated one based off your posts. Push/Pull/Legs, I’ve saved them to my TH-cam Playlists and I do all your workouts in my gym. Very easy to understand and the way you explain them is great! We also have a very similar philosophy of maximizing your physique naturally. Love your work Davis, thank you for sharing your knowledge.

    I started taking Creatine about 3 weeks ago (with a loading phase) and am now on my journey to losing 75lbs of primarily fat! After a year of working out without it, creatine has been a huge game changer for my activity levels, intensity, and workout load. I'm hyped to see more of these videos!

    I’ve been following Davis now for about a year and a half. Originally I just liked him cuz we had close to the same name. I’m a passionate lifter and have changed my diet and routine tremendously since I got out of college. Life was not going well, my girl dumped me and I was alone in a state I never truly live in by myself. I started going to the gym everyday and eating healthy for MYSELF. But, with the help of Davis Diley I was able to push myself physically and mentally and I look tremendous because of Diley’s help and motivation. It does take time, results don’t come immediately, you hit regressions, the key is to preserve. For example, I’m suffering from abdominal tendinopathy and I’m going a little less hard than usual but my old self would’ve just not gone to the gym. Not anymore, when I say I love you Davis, I mean it. I would love to meet you one day and just discuss the fitness journey. God bless.

      Ahhh yes. Quite familiar indeed 🧐 ha yeah man. Sam’s content was an inspiration for me to get started (fueled by me being burned out from creating my short hyper-edited videos) I think this is what we need. People being real. I ain’t gonna show some lavash lifestyle in a country far away. I want to share my life’s work by going to the gym and telling what I know. Over time I’m sure I’ll make it more unique. This is a good starting place.

      @@DavisDiley You should give Sam a shout out and give credit for the inspiration in the next one to keep the haters at bay. Also for a change, you can skip the ASMR lifting audio, and use the explanations as a voiceover during the lift. It can cut down on viewing time.

    Found you at the age of 46, when I realised it was time to workout properly and really wanted to do something about it.
    I spent far too long doing mainly upper body only, very little leg work, very little ab work, same thing every day, seldom a rest day.
    I struggle to take days off, always had a feeling of loss on days with no powerful movement.
    Late last year, I decided to sort myself out, get bigger, get stronger, get leaner, get legs and get abs.
    I haven’t yet managed to leave long periods between muscle groups, still battling to a degree, so right now, I’ll do chest, shoulders, legs on a Monday, back, biceps and AB’s the next, same again Wednesday and Thursday, then one or two full body circuits over Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
    I’m definitely seeing results, best shape I’ve ever been in, but from what you say, I reckon I’m still overdoing it (no steroids for me).
    I reckon I’m working to the correct degree of failure, based on your workout.

    Honestly great video! Would enjoy seeing more of these. I've got a question I'm interested in your take on, what do you think about occasional cheat reps say at the end of your set, when you want to squeeze one or two more reps in? Of course not going all out with the cheating, but maybe adding more of a movement. I'd like for you to consider answering these types of questions in your videos, as you did here with the one from Instagram. Great work!

    you could benefit greatly from deficit barbell rows (bar basically touching your feet) with as wide of a grip as you can handle. they were a game changer for my entire posterior chain development

    Awesome!! Never actually heard you talk to the camera normally lol. I wanted to ask you a question about the deadhang you do at the end of each pullup rep, aren't you losing tension on the lats? Wouldn't you keep tension if you keep your shoulder a bit more down, ie not fully do a deadhang?

    Awesome video, David, love this format!!! You did preacher with 40, that was impressive. What would you suggest to protect bicep from tearing? I do incline curls and barbell curls even though preachers are best for challenging bicep in lengthened position but I was fear Monterey so much that I am afraid to even try it. Do I need to warm up specifically for preacher as it was a compound lift?

    I'm 54, I need to transform about 20 lbs from fat to muscle. Just back into the gym. Never really been a gym rat. But have been on and off this past year. I appreciate your videos. I'll grab my own weights and put em back.
