I feel fortunate that I was able to add 8 4070ti cards to my farm by finding a great deal on them at $580 a piece. I have a connection now that removes GPU’s from prebuilt PC’s and sells them at price that made me stop buying 3070’s.
I'm starting to see that I'm going to have troubles with heat in my garage this summer, so I bit the bullet and bought my first two Octominers. I might have to buy 5 more, but did two to see if my most troublesome rigs can run higher power algos in those with the garage heat. Pray for me. lol, but the rig building never ends!
Praying! Octominers are great. They pull in a lot of air so make sure you inspect and clean. I gotta open up my 12x3070 octo soon and I’m so nervous to see the state of the insides after multiple seasons in the garage lol. Do you have any exhaust fans in the garage? That’s been so helpful for me to get the hot air out.
@@RedFoxCrypto I've got a redneck setup to improve airflow during day since I work from home, but I gotta close garage at night. No windows.... not sure how that's gonna go. lol
10:12 your 4090 is only pulling 218 Watt? Do you have any issue with stability when it goes up to ~445? Also what do the red light on the riser 16x connector indicate?

I have Palit 4070 super. I copy yr overclock setting, core 2940 and memory 4600, it crash. Any other suggestion?

Yeah it'll run more efficiently but its not worth the extra cost in my opinion.
