I'm competitive aoe player and I used to LOVE doing custom scenarios back in the day when i was kid and did all kind of random stuff. It is very fun and understandable
You needed a lot of trebuchets to take their castles down instead of pushing so much man-power at them. Your opponents relied on trebuchets a lot, you should have done that too.
also, at some point the opponent had so many trebuchets at the front, that they were blocking any reinforcement. Two waves of Teutonic knight would have destroyed all his siege.
So much time spent either with trebs destroying the bombard towers or your units fighting far from the bombard tower range! You definitely needed some siege, trebuchets at least.
The reds were just so happy to get killed by the blues. No movement at all, No Elite Longbowmen, no trebuchet, no siege anything, no crossbowmen, no archers, no hand cannoneers, etc. If you really want to make a good killing as the enemy troops are coming into your territory, make a narrower path, put a wall in front of the towers, build two gates, open the first one and lock the second one. Also, you need to garrison elite longbowmen inside the towers to be more effective at killing enemy units, more arrows, more kills. Way too many castles. Literally the king loves to kill his own subjects.
Teuton cav archers... Technically they win vs Celts heavy cav archers but since they are dealing vs melee unit here they are even worse (1 less damage + no husbandy so they can't hit and run at all)

When you play online, it’s a competitive bloodbath, where you are pressured greatly to improve and master the foundation, which are: learning hotkeys, learning the build order, improving micro, knowing the map, etc. I started playing this game less than a month ago and having been mostly playing online, I’ve had to adapt and grow so quickly that seeing this casual player do almost none of that already makes me cringe. It’s just a spectator thing, where you can see all the flaws and can’t help but nitpick them.
