I think you were right to put Quinn in the icon tier simply because Dianna added a lot to a rather shallow character. Quinn was written to be an unlikable mean girl, but Dianna made her a complex girl with emotional depth. I am still kinda mad that the show gave her story line so little attention, I think it had a lot of potential and I would've loved to see Quinn grow more as a person.

Loved the actrice but her character damnnn.... She could be so mean and vicious and in a lot of cases it wasn't at all reasonable. Especially against people who had lots of underlying problems for their behaviour she could really go too far

Mike Chang had a great storyline with his parents in season 3 and was the best dancer while Terri was crazy by faking a pregnancy and trying to take a students baby instead of being honest.

I would like to go on a rant. And you don’t have to read it. Mr. Shue was my least favorite character. Not only was he pathetic but he was so discriminatory it made me sick. So here is a list of things I hate about him. 1. He discriminated against Unique in season 4 or 5 and said to “ tone it down with the whole boob thing.” That scene made me silently seethe with anger. He has no right as a straight cisgender man to ridicule a trans student about their gender dysphoria. 2. That episode where he sings Those two songs in Spanish. He perpetuates infuriating stereotypes and when the only Latin American student calls him out on his bullshit he gets upset and says “ she is messing with adult things here.” That’s bull. It was inappropriate and he was in the wrong. But he can never admit that. 3. Back to the Unique thing: Mr. Shue denied a student, bathroom rights because he wanted to have his glee club twerk. That’s just a perfect example of how willing he is to throw others under the bus for his own personal gain. 4. He stole Finn’s Jacket and then proceeded to let a student ( Puck) take the blame. And it was over looked almost entirely. We were to feel sympathy for him. And while I was sympathetic towards the actors and the situation, that storyline was completely inappropriate and unacceptable. 5. This might be the thing that I hate the absolute most. It makes me boil with rage: when his student Marley (who was getting over an eating disorder and had very very low self confidence in her body) was asked to wear a bikini on stage for a number ( which is already inappropriate innit of itself) she refuses and does the number in a dress. She follows up by saying she wasn’t comfortable wearing it. Mr.Shue then proceeds to yell at Marley and basically say that her body image issues were not a problem to him and he was suspending her from the club for the rest of the week. It is just mind boggling to me that students looked up to him. 6. He almost always completely disregarded what songs the group wanted to do. I don’t understand why he was teaching a bunch of kids in a group where they sing songs but when they asked for specific songs, he denied them. Or he would pick a song and when the club was unenthusiastic about it, he yelled at them. The whole point of the glee club, according to him, was to bring kids joy. And he took the joy out of it by constantly making it about him. 7. He put weed in Finn’s locker and then proceeded to not let Finn take a drug test and blackmailed him into joining his club. That’s got to be illegal. 8. Him and Emma. When she’s with Carl, he’s a complete jerk. Carl was actually making her better. He was helping a lot with her OCD. But Shue was constantly trying to prove that he was better, and simultaneously messing her up. He openly mocked her when she was making progress. Whenever she voiced her opinions to him, he overlooked them or manipulated her into changing them. And that one time when she called him a slut (and she was right) her high was short lived and she went back to him in the end. Don’t get me wrong, Emma wasn’t my favorite either. But she deserved better than Will. 9. HE CANNOT RAP!!!!!!!!!!! In conclusion I think that Will Shuester was one of the worst teachers in the history of television and though I love Glee, he and a few other characters made it infuriating to watch. If you made it this far, kudos to you! Feel free to debate whatever I said in the comments. I’m only 12 so who knows? I might not even know what I’m talking about anyway.

I've been on a huge Glee marathon since Naya's disappearance. I stopped watching just before Cory's passing because it moved to Sky when I was a kid (only had freeview). I forgot just how amazing Naya was of a performer, I'm not gay but I'm sure her character really spoke to a lot of people because rewatching her storyline of her accepting her sexuality has had been in tears for a couple days 😭 RIP Naya 🙏🏾💞
The show and especially the gay storylines were so incredibly important to so many people around the world at the time, and even now. It was really iconic.

Nah man, I loved her from the very beginning till the end and I never (not once) thought she was annoying. She was my idol as a teen, I wanted to become Rachel Berry 😂😂 I'm now 22 and rewatching Glee and uuuh, well....Haven't changed my mind one bit. On the contrary I still hate Mercedes and I've now realized Brittany is probably also one of my fav characters.
i despise sebastian. no offense lol, but i cant understand why people like him. he tried throwing a tainted slushie in kurt's face, it ended up hitting blaine. he was constantly hitting on blaine while blaine was still with kurt, he would break multiple rules to intimidate the new directions so that the warblers could win. he was also rude to literally everyone, and not in a santana kind of way. he was just a jerk. he's talented, and i like how he decided to be a bit nicer after dave attempted, but still, i do not like sebastian.
bruh when you look closely, the slushie wasn't aimed at Kurt's face but at his clothes, Blaine got in the way and it accidentally hithim in the face. And Sebastian was EXACTLY Santana kind of jerk, he is basically male Santana. She had much more screentime so it was much easier for her to grow on everybody, but she was just as bad if not worse. She was also ruining other people's relationships (and in her case it was out of spite, not because of her attraction which actually kind of makes it worse), there was the dodgeball incident which once you think about was kind of similar to the slushie, she constantly put everyone down, she betrayed the New Directions, the list goes on. And Sebastian did have some redeeming qualities, he seemed to be quite a good leader and team player for the Warblers and though he did many bad things he did eventually snap out of it, even if it took a suicide attempt. I'm not saying Santana didn't have any because she did, but she really wasn't a better person than him. (Personally I just love them both)
Holly Holiday was the best guest character they ever had. She should have been permanent. Her performance of Forget You? Iconic. Her singing Turning Tables? Heartbreaking.
Honestly, the first icon i instantly thought of WAS KURT. his actor had literally never acted before, but the producers liked his personality so much they replaced a different charactor with Kurt and rewrote half the script to fit him in. lol, Glee without Kurt equals DEATH

I would like to go on a rant. And you don’t have to read it.
Mr. Shue was my least favorite character. Not only was he pathetic but he was so discriminatory it made me sick. So here is a list of things I hate about him.
1. He discriminated against Unique in season 4 or 5 and said to “ tone it down with the whole boob thing.” That scene made me silently seethe with anger. He has no right as a straight cisgender man to ridicule a trans student about their gender dysphoria.
2. That episode where he sings Those two songs in Spanish. He perpetuates infuriating stereotypes and when the only Latin American student calls him out on his bullshit he gets upset and says “ she is messing with adult things here.” That’s bull. It was inappropriate and he was in the wrong. But he can never admit that.
3. Back to the Unique thing: Mr. Shue denied a student, bathroom rights because he wanted to have his glee club twerk. That’s just a perfect example of how willing he is to throw others under the bus for his own personal gain.
4. He stole Finn’s Jacket and then proceeded to let a student ( Puck) take the blame. And it was over looked almost entirely. We were to feel sympathy for him. And while I was sympathetic towards the actors and the situation, that storyline was completely inappropriate and unacceptable.
5. This might be the thing that I hate the absolute most. It makes me boil with rage: when his student Marley (who was getting over an eating disorder and had very very low self confidence in her body) was asked to wear a bikini on stage for a number ( which is already inappropriate innit of itself) she refuses and does the number in a dress. She follows up by saying she wasn’t comfortable wearing it. Mr.Shue then proceeds to yell at Marley and basically say that her body image issues were not a problem to him and he was suspending her from the club for the rest of the week. It is just mind boggling to me that students looked up to him.
6. He almost always completely disregarded what songs the group wanted to do. I don’t understand why he was teaching a bunch of kids in a group where they sing songs but when they asked for specific songs, he denied them. Or he would pick a song and when the club was unenthusiastic about it, he yelled at them. The whole point of the glee club, according to him, was to bring kids joy. And he took the joy out of it by constantly making it about him.
7. He put weed in Finn’s locker and then proceeded to not let Finn take a drug test and blackmailed him into joining his club. That’s got to be illegal.
8. Him and Emma. When she’s with Carl, he’s a complete jerk. Carl was actually making her better. He was helping a lot with her OCD. But Shue was constantly trying to prove that he was better, and simultaneously messing her up. He openly mocked her when she was making progress. Whenever she voiced her opinions to him, he overlooked them or manipulated her into changing them. And that one time when she called him a slut (and she was right) her high was short lived and she went back to him in the end. Don’t get me wrong, Emma wasn’t my favorite either. But she deserved better than Will.
9. HE CANNOT RAP!!!!!!!!!!!
In conclusion I think that Will Shuester was one of the worst teachers in the history of television and though I love Glee, he and a few other characters made it infuriating to watch. If you made it this far, kudos to you! Feel free to debate whatever I said in the comments. I’m only 12 so who knows? I might not even know what I’m talking about anyway.

I've been on a huge Glee marathon since Naya's disappearance. I stopped watching just before Cory's passing because it moved to Sky when I was a kid (only had freeview). I forgot just how amazing Naya was of a performer, I'm not gay but I'm sure her character really spoke to a lot of people because rewatching her storyline of her accepting her sexuality has had been in tears for a couple days 😭 RIP Naya 🙏🏾💞
The show and especially the gay storylines were so incredibly important to so many people around the world at the time, and even now. It was really iconic.

bruh when you look closely, the slushie wasn't aimed at Kurt's face but at his clothes, Blaine got in the way and it accidentally hithim in the face. And Sebastian was EXACTLY Santana kind of jerk, he is basically male Santana. She had much more screentime so it was much easier for her to grow on everybody, but she was just as bad if not worse. She was also ruining other people's relationships (and in her case it was out of spite, not because of her attraction which actually kind of makes it worse), there was the dodgeball incident which once you think about was kind of similar to the slushie, she constantly put everyone down, she betrayed the New Directions, the list goes on. And Sebastian did have some redeeming qualities, he seemed to be quite a good leader and team player for the Warblers and though he did many bad things he did eventually snap out of it, even if it took a suicide attempt. I'm not saying Santana didn't have any because she did, but she really wasn't a better person than him.
