As a customizer, I fucking loved this video, the playday aspect of this channel is always so much fun so having a full video of one custom makes it even better. Especially in this format. Great work
That's why I have so many boxes like that, I see something that may or may not happen in the future but gotta keep all those parts and pieces "just in case" haha.
@@RoboDontKnowI keep my “spare parts” in those clear donut boxes from Walmart. Quick scan even with a shake up to find the parts I need or not. One for hands. Two for heads. Two for random accys….
I want more videos like this. I love watching the entire procedure, even something as "simple" as removing the limbs from the Star Wars figure, is something that many people will find informative and interesting.
As someone that's been reading through all the mutant books from the start and is now in the mid 90's, love seeing a deep cut like Nanny and I loved watching your process, would be glad to watch more videos like this!
Love this video style and love the custom! 17 minutes ago I didn’t even know who Nanny was, and now I’ve seen what a perfect figure of her would look like. That’s a good day for sure
Definitely a memorable character, I was obssesed with her from OHOTMU. Never got to see her actual appearances until the advent of the internet. Fantastic work.
I'd love to see more videos like this. As someone who's fairly new to the hobby finding good modern resources like this can be a challenge and this is the perfect solution
Great job !!! There is nothing more satisfying than getting a custom that makes you happy No one knows what it’s like to build up your box of items that might work. Really enjoyed watching her come together. Learned a few things as well Thanks for sharing
Robo, from a perspective of a collector I think you're everything I want to become when I'm your age (or, to be precise, when I'm the age you were when I started watching you, which is about a decade ago - I still have some years ahead hopefully). Thank you so much for being a truly perfect example of a play-day person and a human being in general. Love you and wish you to be this wholesome during most of your days!
"not perfect" it's better than every custom I've ever made (even though that total is three) this looks amazing and yes, I love the style of the video!
Definitely more play days like this robo. I tend to customise myself and I enjoy seeing breakdowns like this as it helps with my customising techniques too.
Definitely a great Play Day! I had no issues with the format at all. It was easy to follow along, and the audio was totally clear. I would be interested in more "Thought process" type videos. Your process is very similar to my own (and I bet lots of us collectors).
Definitely keep up this style of custom builds. The handful of customizers I find on youtube are either way to detail oriented and kind of boring, or just go over the finished custom, parts and paint used and thats it. We need more tutorial kind of videos that aren't so dry and hard to watch and actually show you a good chunk of the process of making said customs.
Loved this video! So many people customise their figures and don't tend to show the process, or even explain it any more than "I painted it with..." so it's nice to see someone's process from start to finish. Something I'm very keen on is touching up figures rather than full paint jobs; I added the red in Glavis Mando's Grav Charges, as well as the silver on the knee, and I've drawn in the web lines on almost every Spider-Man I have so seeing a couple videos on that sort of thing would be cool (maybe more as shorts like your dry brushing one from before)
I think this type of video is pretty rad! I love seeing the customizing process you do, makes it feel more accessible for people who wanna get into customizing. It came out great too, I like that it feels almost a bit like a modernized version of Nanny with the new arms and legs but with a heavy emphasis on it being a throwback to the past look
I've been meaning to leave a comment asking you to do this for a long time. I'm just learning by watching what others have done and I absolutely love this. More please.
I love seeing your entire process, Robo! It's like a cooking video! Your love for the character really shined through. I only know Nanny from Hellions... meaning I need her, because that was a hidden gem of a series. Now _that's_ a team that'll take a while to complete thanks to (most of) the characters' obscurity.
this whole sitdown paint and narrate from start to finish product is my fav. i hope there's more. vangelus from the transformers fandom used to have vbuilds where it's an edited video of the build from start to finish with some narration.
I truly love watching you customize things you gave me the inspiration to do a simple paint fix for the juggernaut build a figure wave Deadpool unmasked, which surprisingly came out really well for me
Robo this format is really cool! I've been trying to do some custom painting to some of my figures and learning in the process, so it is always cool to see what other people is doing, and learn a bit from them. Hope this becomes a series.
Dude, AMAZING...I'd love to see more of these, custom start to finish. So satisfying. I wasn't even familiar with Nanny now I kinda want one! 😂 Killer job too!
Really enjoyed the peak behind the curtain to see how you customized and kitbash. I've been collecting action figures since childhood and it wasn't until recently that I've even considered any kitbashing/mods, looking forward to next playday 👍👍
This was a great format! It was very stream of consciousness and really showed the FUN aspect of customising! Thanks for this one, Robo. You reminded me of why I got into customs in the first place. 🤘
That was so cool, love this format. It was nice to see the thought process and trial and error of things. I would watch more even if you fast forward thru the painting. Nice to see the process. It gets me excited to start some customs too, or just finish the one's I started 😅
This came out amazing! This was a great video! I loved seeing the process. I know you may have been doing the Bob Ross thing as a joke, but listening to you talk your way through the process was very soothing.
Really enjoyed this. Thanks. Have no knowledge of the character (kind of reminded me of a robotic ‘Dizzy’ from the old C64 games. ) but still really enjoyed the little intro to her and the making. Would love to see more start to finish customs. Even figure improvements would be cool to see. All inspiring, creative stuff. :)
Happy for you. Proud of you. Love the format. Keep leaning into the Bob Ross-ification.
"Let's add this happy little murder egg to the shelf..."
Thanks man! It was half way through that I realized I was just naturally doing it, unintentional lean!

LMBO THAT'S AWESOME 😂@@Glorbified
Loved it! Love the new format! I would love to see more!!!
Absolutely love that we can hear you smiling at the end without seeing it! But, now that you've made it, Hasbro will announce it tomorrow.
Yeah, I've been smiling since the day Rob showed me the digital render, it's only gotten bigger since.
@@RoboDontKnow seeing that joy on your face is why we still love toys.

We appreciate your sacrifice Robo. Can’t wait to see her get an official release next year.
Seeing the Orphanmaker build would make a good sequel to this. I’d definitely give it a watch
This format reminds me of Glenn Webbs custom videos! There's something about it that feels so satisfying
Great playday, Robo! Like this format and the new mic is great for the “remote” shots. Hope to see more, if you’re willing to share
The box of bits that would look like trash to anyone other than you speaks to me on a fundamental level. That's a universal thing for hobbyists!
That's why I have so many boxes like that, I see something that may or may not happen in the future but gotta keep all those parts and pieces "just in case" haha.

NYCC or Toy Fair NY? So about two months?
Love this video style and love the custom! 17 minutes ago I didn’t even know who Nanny was, and now I’ve seen what a perfect figure of her would look like. That’s a good day for sure
That's a great project. The end results are excellent.
I'm so so happy with how it came out, even if I changed my mind four or five times heh.
Hellions was easily the best Krakoa-era book. It was so good that I refuse to believe Zeb Wells actually wrote it.

I'd love to see more videos like this. As someone who's fairly new to the hobby finding good modern resources like this can be a challenge and this is the perfect solution
I love the entire play day. I think more play days should be like that to show the process.
Great job !!!
There is nothing more satisfying than getting a custom that makes you happy

Really enjoyed watching her come together.
Learned a few things as well
Thanks for sharing
This was bad ass. I love watching customization come to life. Please do more.
So glad you finally have a nanny for your shelf. I know you’re been wanting for forever. Thanks for sharing the process!
Nanny came out pretty damn great and I really, REALLY enjoyed seeing you go through the entire process in this format!
She looks amazing. It’s interesting to see the process.
I, personally would like to more of this kind of video. I don’t customize but it was fun and interesting watching one go from beginning to end.

Been thinking of a Nanny and Orphan Maker set for years. Always liked those X-Factor baddies. Need Cameron Hodge and a Right Soldier too.
I'm happy you finished the xmen nanny figure
Loved this format of Play Day Robo! It's a way for some of us other customizers to learn something new

5:35 the fact that I can hear you telling yourself to not say mushroom tip makes this video just that much better
You should DEFINITLEY do more of these Robo

Hellions is one of the best X books in years. Well worth a read. And only 18 issues!
I liked what I saw when researching pics, may give it a shot.

I love this... with the "hope box". I do the same trying to find the right parts for customs. Thanks Robo, inspired again!
I would love to watch more of your customs all the way through like this.
This turned out great! 3D printing has been a great addition to the hobby.
Nice! Thw only nanny i remember is the one from marvel zonbies resurrections. That version of granny was a sentinel.
What an amazing custom Robo! Beautiful job. Congrats on fulfilling your custom dream.
I love this! As someone who just got into 1/12 customization, I love this
Dude this is awesome. I’m a big X-Factor fan and I loved seeing her in those issues back in the day. This was a great play day.
Might be one of my favourite videos you've ever done, Robo. Would love to see more of these videos in the future!
Great watch, really enjoyed seeing you explore miniature paints on bigger scale 6" figures!
This was awesome, love this format! The custom looks amazing
The exploration is fun to follow along with. Intresting to see something go from start to finish
I'm terrible with sticking to the plan so I was afraid it would meander along but thankfully the kit is pretty straight forward.
I've been meaning to leave a comment asking you to do this for a long time. I'm just learning by watching what others have done and I absolutely love this. More please.
Ive never seen this character before. but that looks like the base images of her. That's super cool! good job to your paint and the sculptor.
Bob Ross style figure customising... Love it. More of this!
Love this format, Robo! Would love to see more, a lot more! 🔥

Start small and work your way up. Or jump in the deep end. Both ways are fun!

More customs please! Felt like watching the Bob Ross of figures.
